I use this router for my home internet service. My ISP is Time Warner Cable. I pay for the 50mb download speed and average around 55mb when I run speed tests. Range is good as well. Nothing super impressive, but it covers a two story home with ease and extends into the front and back yard. Another big seller was the mobile application. Set up was easy, and I love the remote access and control of my network. Even simple things like monitoring connected devices is made super simple. If I had to pick out problems, I am not crazy about the design. Seems to take up more space than I would like it to with the antennas fully extended. Also, it can run a little warm at times. Overall, it's a great router. Linksys is also a more reliable brand than Netgear. I have bought multiple Netgear routers that have cost me over $100 and none of them have made it past two years. Also, they have the worst tech support in the world.

I am very happy with this router. I wanted to upgrade my in home network router and this was an excellent choice. It increased the wifi range, speed and signal strength. I have only used Linksys Routers but the setup process is very easy. The smart wifi app is also a great option as well. I have spoken with tech support in the past regarding a different router and they are very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. I think most people will be very happy with this router.

In a house with four laptops, four smart phones, three streaming bluray players, three tablets and four gaming systems this router cuts it. The dual bands allow higher traffic devices to operate without limits. For the cost it's great.

This router has some great features, dual band, easy set up and a fairly decent range. The firmware has problems though. The parental controls dont work if you set them up on a schedule. Port forwarding is fine, but finding it was a pain. The boot up time is ridiculously long. Overall, a decent router, but had I known one of the features I was looking for doesn't work, I would have passed.

It is easy to install. I do not use any CD to install this router. Pro: 1. Range is good. It can cover the house very well. 2. Speed is definitely much better compared to the previous Linksys WRT54G. (G router vs AC router) so no question AC will win. 3. Price is also reasonable. I configure the router just by using "iphone" and not even using my laptop.

This router is pretty fast. I have 50mbps cable internet and this works flawlessly. It can't do Tomato or DDWRT (yet) which is why I am subtracting a star. The built in firmware is good enough for most users (me included). I am able to get 75MB/s writes to my NAS which is maxed out for my NAS specs. Good wireless range.

I purchased this router for the speed and excellent signal strength and I have not been disappointed. I would have given it 5 stars, but I found the manual setup process to be a bit annoying. Often when you make a change to a setting, you must do a 90 second reboot. Once set up it works flawlessly.

This router was recommended to me by the Best Buy sales associate. It was a reasonable price for current technology. I found the installation instructions easy to follow and the router worked first try! It has been reliable since installation.

Great Range and speed. I upgraded due to lots of dead spots in my condo and many other networks in a tight condo setting. This router was plug and play and I get great reception all over my house now. Easy setup and overall good product

Solid router if you need AC and gigabit speeds

I purchased this router to replace my older Linksys N router. It was time for an upgrade after I purchased my new Vizio 55" 4k TV. Most new devices come equipped with WiFi AC, as it is a bit faster than your typical N connection. With all the devices we own, tablets, phones, bluray players, chromecasts, and the new TV, it was time for a router that could handle our needs. So far, it has been very good. It gets the job done. We only have a few devices using the AC connection (which can be renamed as if it's a different network to delineate). If the device is close enough to the router, we have it connected to the gigabit ethernet port to avoid any WiFi issues, especially Netflix 4k streaming on the new TV. So far, it's been up to task! It does get a little warm, though. If your looking to use even more devices (larger families, guests) and perhaps slightly stronger signal, go for the model up.

I had been using my cable company router to provide Wifi to my home. Bottom line I wanted to find something faster with Dual Band. This router works perfectly and allows me to take advantage of the faster speeds my company offers. Money Well spent. Easy Setup and great features.

This Linksys EA6350 Does The Trick

I live in a large (3K sq.ft.) three-story stucco house (built c. 1930). It has very thick plaster interior walls reinforced internally with wire mesh. Now that I think of it, it's not unlike a Faraday cage so it's a challenge to get a good WiFi signal. The new Linksys 802.11ac is on the third floor and gives me five out of five bars in every room as well as at least 25 feet into my backyard. Pros: Easy to set up; puts out a strong, reliable, persistent signal; every device we have connects easily and keeps the connection; improved speed for all devices; helpful web-based control center with many features, including security. Cons: None so far. For an older desktop, I bought a new Linksys Wireless-AC USB 3.0 Adapter to go along with the new router, works like a charm. No problems, I should have bought a good router a long time ago. Thanks for reading this, hope it helps.

We have three phones, two tablets, and a laptop using this device and performance has been great. When testing the range outside, it has also been excellent. The switch from the old router was very easy and configuration was a breeze.

I needed a new router to replace one that was 7 years old. I wanted something to match the speed of my Internet connection. This router does that and more! It also has a wider range for its signal. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Bought this router because of price and ease in set up according to the reviews. Indeed it was fast to set up, has been installed for several weeks now and has not had one single issue. It's dual band, so I put those devices capable of using the 5 Mhz band to reduce interference from microwave ovens and cordless phones in the house. I do notice the coverage area is much smaller than the previous wireless router that i was using. Going through two walls, but overall distance from the router of about 20', the signal strength on my smart phone goes down to one bar, although it appears to be useful signal strength. It's also nice to be able to monitor what devices are connected to the network at any time from my laptop or away from home on the smart phone app.

Price is in the eye of the beholder, and it is cheaper than other routers with similar feature, but I would have preferred a simpler and cheaper router given the age of the systems I connect to it. Oh well. Set up was quick and easy and it has been chugging along with no hiccups since I got it home. I guess I can spend the money and hope to be a little future proof. A nice little bonus that I didn't think of when I was buying it is that the status lights don't keep me up at night. My last router had to be covered to block the lights.

This unit has great range and performance, and gave a significant speed boost from my old n300. The only issue I encountered was not with the unit, but with my broadband provider over-selling wireless speed.

I had a Linksys E1500 that started giving trouble. Bought this versatile router to replace it. So far it works great and I love the dual band (2.4 + 5GHz) option and no CD to setup.
