Thanks to the Best Buy employee who was very helpful in guiding us to this wireless router. It is what we needed and works great. It may not have all the bells and whistles but it is exactly what we need. The unit works great for the wireless devices we use in our house.

Okay. Very simple to set up and manage by phone or PC. Handles basic internet access and all the smart devices well. Unfortunately doesn't play nice with the Roku TV. Zero problems with previous router, but this one will "disappear" from the TV's network scan (while I'm still using it for phone and other devices just fine). This may be an artifact from their gimmicky "beam forming" feature messing up the Roku network antenna (?) Wait for a sale and you won't feel cheated.

Poor signal then failed. Purchase the Apple Airport instead.

My favorite non premium router. The Linksys software is easy to configure and it does it's job well with a relatively small foot print and low power usage. My only complaint is Linksys hides the ipv6 configuration. This is my favorite Linksys router since the wrt54g

The router does what it is supposed to do, but the signal could be a little stronger I feel. It does depend on a lot of factors just in my case I feel it should reach a bit further without dropping. Linksys always makes good products though so overall a good router.

It was easy to setup and worked fine. The salesman said it would be strong enough to have a signal throughout my 1400 square foot condo, but, it was not. The signal did not make it down stairs so I returned it.

I think the router is fine , for a middle of the road router. I have no clue though because of Intermittent problems with either internet services or devices or bad cables. This router seems to work as advertised.

Don’t find this router great but it’s not bad either. Signal strength at my house isn’t too good because of the design but it does reach much less than my last one. But, I can’t complain it works while I work from home.

Started calling in to Linksys for support the day I brought this router home because the router did not work and after 5 months of trouble shooting with Linksys on a regular basis it was identified that I did not have the correct router for my home/network. After being on the phone with Linksys 6 hours today I was told that I would need to upgrade to a $280 router and they offered me $10 credit for the $140 router that was purchased 6 months ago. I was told by one of the reps that they could not give me credit for the router that I had so I should "give it to a friend". Linksys takes NO responsibility for not diagnosing the issue as the incorrect router for my home/network any of the 15 times that I called in for support. DO NOT BUY LINKSYS PRODUCTS. Support is useless!

Good performance for the money. Needed better range though.

Does what I need it to, you may have to set it up again after firmware update since all the settings disappeared, like the nighthawk app since I can see at a glance everything connected to my network both wireless and wired.

I used a router that was outdated. In this day and age you have to use up-to date software for internet security. With the Linksys AC1200 you have an option of setting up automatic updates for optimal internet security.

It does an ok job for a smaller home, not a large home.

Hooking up some smart lights I found out that they could not be controlled on my location's 5 GHz only wireless network. I bought this router because of its flexibility and was very happy with the clear instructions and ease of installation.

Slower than I thought it would be. Should have returned it.

Bought for in-laws to replace outdated router. Placed new router in same basement location as old router. Improved WIFI and download speeds throughout 2-story house. Nice guest access feature. The one letdown was did not have full signal strength throughout the house as expected.

I bought this router to replace an older Belkin. We needed faster speed so I bought this as an upgrade. Unfortunately the range of this "newer, faster and stronger" unit was subpar to the older, slower Belkin. We ended up returning it and getting a Nighthawk instead.

Had a problem trying to get into to set up my own password, until it finally said the firmware was out of date and needed to be updated, when updated I could set up my password, even their help support could not figure that out. Working fine now.
