I was in store for a router that fits a college student budget. Saw this device in the local newspaper ads. Thought it was a good price. Picked it up the next day and after48hrs of use I was satisfied.

Sales rep told me by buying this items I will no longer wifi connect and it will expand my range. Well it did the opposite now I keep dropping wifi and I don't get it upstairs anymore so was told u need to buy an adapter.

Once the Router is set up it works fine. (I had problems getting it to work so I called Linksys support, but that might just be my lack of computer knowledge!) I only gave it a 3 because the Best Buy Rep told me that this Router would be much stronger in range than my old router.... BUT it actually isn't. My inexpensive old router had a stronger wi-fi signal at further ranges in my house. Very disappointing. I unfortunately waited too long to set it up so I couldn't return it. I did give it the 3 stars as it does work with out glitches once set up properly... Just not a strong signal in my house.

I waited to review this product because I really wanted to see if there would be a "drop off" in speed/range. I'm happy to report that I am enjoying this product. There have been no changes and it works just as it should. It was easy to set up.

This router is excellent for the price, sets up easily and works well. No problems with reception in 750 sq. ft. railroad style apartment. I use it for my phone, computer and a/c.

Purchased a cheaper router at Target and nothing but problems. Best Buy had great customer service and great products to choose from. A knowledgable sales associate helped me with selection and have been 100% satisfied with the performance of this router.

...but an effective easy to set up router. The app is ok too. Remember to update the router's firmware and create a backup config file after it is all set up.

This product was a pain to hook up I was on the phone with Linksys for almost 2 hours I was told it sometimes takes time to kick in ! Well I waited and this is one horrible product I have to reset it at least 4 times a week

You won't get full speed with this range but its a good router if you need a solution for a good price. Love the app and the smart features to control devices and prioritize power within connected devices

For some reason it was not working with the internet....but after calling customer service they walked me thru the necessary steps and just like that...MY INTERNET WAS UP AND RUNNING.....LIFESAVERS

This is a good router but once we have two laptops and two phones, response time is slow and sometimes I lose connection. This is good for a one person household

This router seems to have solved my lap top losing internet connection. I would have to sign off and then sign back on several times in a short period of time. Was very frustrating

This router was great to have when our wireless was set up in our new home. It was suggested we purchase before our install and there is room to grow in the future with the router we purchased!

I have owned it for about 2 months now and am pleased. Only had to reset it once. Since installing it I have noticed that when streaming Netflix I don't have buffer lag. Connection to the smart tv is almost instantaneous.

This works fine for our smallish 2 bedroom apartment. Signal drops significantly out on our balcony though which I suspect may be due to the building's steal siding.

My previous router did not allow my computer at the far end of my house to connect. This one connects great. Also some of my devices use the 5ghz and guests we let use the 2.8ghz. Very satisfied. Bought another one for my Mom's house.

I needed to replace a particular router that I was having problems with. This one was just a little more expensive, but seems to be working great. I have not had any issues with it since the purchase. I would recommend it.

I purchased this router to work with a cable modem. It works great, only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it has 2 different speeds which is unnecessary. Always use the 5GHZ or it can get slow.

This router is perfect for home use. I have not put it through an extended-use test, however. I ended up not needing it long term, and returned it.

Picked up this router as a new router when swapping from DSL to Cable Internet. Pleased with the performance so far after approximately 2 months of usage. Range could be slightly better... May pick up an extender soon.
