This has been a very good router for everyday home use and video streaming. I would definitely recommend it. As with most electronics, just make sure it has a cool surface so that it doesn't get too heated.

The first one I purchased was defective. It did not send signals to my cell or laptop. The Linksys tech walked me through a problem detection routine and the item did not respond on any level as he said it should. I returned the item for a replacement. So far, the replacement is working properly. I cannot say how many other folks have had this problem and it is unlikely that I will ever need another provided this one continues to work. Maybe I just got the one out of a thousand bad ones. Therefore, I will still give it a recommend.

My mom needed a new router, and this one fit the bill. She is a little technology challenged, but was eventually able to figure it out.

I've always had Linksys routers so I know their reliability and good wifi. I have no complaints with this product it does what it's suppose to and install was super easy!

Needed something cheap with a gigabit connection to my modem to replace my old router that was bottlenecking my upgraded internet speed. This did the trick and has worked perfectly so far( about 3 months).

It works well. I hoped it would give me a little more range though. I may have to get a signal amplifier to increase the speed on the other side of my house away from the router.

I was having signal strength problems and not anywhere near the download speeds I should have been. This router solved those problems and gave me several great options for guests and device prioritization.

My old router needed a firmware update but it was too old so I had to buy a new one, this one does the job well for our house - 7 devices but it is not as strong a signal strength as my old router

I purchased this router for my elderly parents, that quite frankly, do not require a high internet speed. The speed of the router is actually very good, performing as well or better, than advertised. The range however, which is highlighted as one of its many pluses, sucks! If you're not in the same room, forget it! If you live in a small home, I'd say that it's probably going to work well for you. Otherwise, keep on shopping.

It's easy to setup and has a mobile app to control the wifi. Now I'm not sure if it's the router or my modem but the wifi is weak barley reach my room

It’s an easy set up and doesn’t take up much room. Also allows multiple devices on at same time

Glad it came with very simple instructions. Just make sure to elevate the unit. It seems to be very hot at the bottom of the unit.

I'm not very technical and don't know much about computers, but when my kid's phones weren't getting WiFi connection the Best Buy representative recommended this router. Kids are happy, so I'm happy!

Great router at a good price. The only drawback is how Linksys implements their guest Network, you have to sign in each time, it won't remember the password and auto connect.

I replaced my old router in hopes that I would get better wifi reception. Unfortunately, it works no better than the one it replaced. I should have just returned it and kept the older one.

Easy to setup! Great signal power! Took less than 5 minutes to get working! Security options allowed me to lock it down to just my devices - no wifi freeloaders!

I'm only 30 ft away from it with no walls or doors and the 5ghz band wifi frequency seems to give me 3 out of 4 bars. Very strange.

I have configured many wireless AP but this one was the easiest one I have come across. It walks you through all the settings and it has a smart section that allows you to access it from the web.

it kept losing connection to the internet thru/not communicating with my modem (also just purchased a couple weeks prior to the router). i wound up returning both and got a 2-in-1 unit.

Not very savvy on the mechanics of these things so had a friend help. He pulled it together with no difficulty and has been working ever since.
