Also had great wifi range thru out the house, up stairs and to the back of our 1 acre property. But just stopped working March 2018, may try to update firmware, but at only $90.00 might get another one???

The adapter could not be getting enough signal from the router. You may need to move closer to the router to increase the signal received by your adapter. Make sure also that its driver is up to date.
