However have had some issues with router dropping my connection and have had to reboot router. Not sure if it was the router or some other factor but rebooting router seemed to make it work again.

We appreciate the time you spent in sharing your experience with us. Does the connection drop off on both wired and wireless? Bypass the router and test the connection directly connected from the modem. You can also manually update or reflash its firmware. Don't forget to restore it to factory default settings afterwards.

We’re glad to know that the set up went smoothly. Changing channels is one of the best ways to resolve intermittent signal and to optimize your wireless connection. The recommended channels for the 2.4 GHz network are 1, 6, and 11 since they are considered non-overlapping channels.
