Unreliable router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thought Linksys and this model AC1200+ would be good, it is not reliable at all. Even talked to their support twice and working at various trouble shooting possibilities didn't improve connectivity. On occasion it would need to be 'basic reset' (turned off, wait a bit, turned back on) in order to have laptop find it and link up for internet access. Power source and internet connection is always confirmed solid and distance for laptop to router is consistently 10-20 feet with one drywall between the two. Horrible performance considering I've had another Linksys for over 3 years and it works fine with more distance and several walls between that router and associated computers.

You can try to set a static wireless channel on the router to try and improve the signal, it could be possible that there are interferences that is conflicting with the router's signal.
