To get a better range of your wireless connection, we suggest you place the router in the central location of your house. Having the wireless network on a specific channel will also improve its range and performance. You may set it to either channel 1, 6 or 11.

It seems the radios and transmitters and receivers arent that great. I remember the old WRT54G was one of the best there ever was. Now, I don't know how the new WRT-AC is, but Linksys recently in general has left me disappointed. Buy the ASUS.
