It has been moved out into the hallway and still delivers about 30% of my modems actual speed...and I'm about 30 feet away. Taking it back today.

Signal interference may be the cause of your slow Wi-Fi speed. Before you take the router back, we suggest that you set a static wireless channel on the routers Wi-Fi settings and relocate the device to the center of your home to get an even coverage.

When our wifi was hooked up we couldn't put the router in the house, had to keep it in the garage, so returned this and got the Linksys AC1750. It has worked great.
