However, this particular model, and the AC-rating, performed poorly overall. In fact, I wound up taking it out of commission, only to do eventual (further) evaluation.

It did the job, but there are better ones on the market now. I would recommend looking into the AmpliFi router. Its a little pricier, but its worth it.

This router also can be used in big rooms or houses as its range can cover up to 250 ft in a clear line of sight. If you aren't getting that in your room or house, adjusting the wireless channel of both bands can optimize its wireless performance. Check also the adapters of your wireless devices as they could be running on a different standard as the router's. We'd love to assist you via email at [email protected] if our suggestion won't help.
