      Hi Portageguy,

      We appreciate you in sharing your feedback about the Linksys EA6350. There are a few factors why your wireless device is getting low or poor signal from the router. WiFi signals are susceptible to obstructions that may lead to low signal. Oftentimes, the signal gets reflected, refracted, or absorbed by the obstruction. Wireless interference is also a major factor. You can consider relocating your router somewhere high to get around the obstruction and change the Wireless Channels used by your router to avoid interference. Preferred channels to use are 1, 6 and 11 since they’re considered as non-overlapping channels.     I have a 1000 sq ft house, single story and I lose connection in the garage. The signal strength is kinda weak for the price I paid and I have trouble streaming shows on tv apps (I’ve tried on other routers and had no problems)

      There are several factors for connectivity losses -- signal interference, environmental obstructions, an old firmware. Make sure that the unit is running on the latest firmware version; wireless channels are switched for further isolation; and the unit is centrally located in your home to maximize coverage.
