We tried the speed directly with the modem and it was more than double.they suggested me to change this product for another.

Download the firmware in this link: http://www.linksys.com/us/support-article?articleNum=148481. Once the file is saved on your computer, proceed with the update process by following the steps in this link: http://www.linksys.com/us/support-article?articleNum=140365. Reset and reconfigure the router then test the speed again. Switched back to my old router and had connection again. Returned and stuck with my current setup. This product may be nice but the one I purchased was not working.
