Worked fine for the first 6 months and then would no longer connect to the wifi no matter what I tried! Had to contact my local internet provider and even they couldn't get it to work so I had to buy yet another router. Do not buy. It will stop working. End of story.

I got this so as to turn an Ethernet connection into a WiFi connection for use by my XBox One (and other devices). It worked fine for the other devices (laptop, cell phone) but the XBox couldn't get an internet connection through it. Waste of money.

Bought this to help with the wifi situation in our condo. The unit is only a 2 bedroom and the router is placed in a central location in the living room. The secondary bedroom does not get wifi, we are told it's because of the cinderblock walls. Perhaps it would work in a condo with 2x4 construction.

I went on the advice of the Best Buy tech. He said he had this router far away from his device, through walls, etc. and had NO ISSUES. I have this device on the second floor about 30 feet away(as the crow flies) from my TV on the first floor and it CONSTANTLY cuts out. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!

I bought this to replace the ISP supplied all in one gateway. So far it's been working great. I paired this with a Motorola SurfBoard modem and performance has been very satisfactory. My hardware exceeds the download speed from my ISP so if my service is ever upgraded I'm prepared. I'm not sure why some are having issues installing and setting this thing up. I was honestly surprised at how easy it was. Download the app on your phone, follow instructions. Done. It doesn't get any easier than that. Range easily covers my whole house. I don't have to reset it every day. Actually haven't had to reset it yet.

The Linksys EA6350 is the best for the price. After researching reviews online from different sites. I've made my decision on this router. I was a little iffy to jump on this router because negative reviews about it failing, dropping connections or the lack of Wi-Fi distance, but the positive reviews outweighed that. Of course you gotta figure out of thousands of routers sold a small % is eventually going to get a bad one, and anyways that's what a warranty is for.
1. The price is good for a great product.
2. Dual Band, 2 fat antennas, black w/grey strip, low-pro with 1 activity light on top/front makes this sleek
3. Fast,. and boy did it blow my old outdated Linksys WRTGS out the water. I quadrupled my wired and wireless speed.
4. Great Wi-Fi range, my niece lives on the 1st floor...2 floor's where the router's placed, she gets connected with no dropping since I installed, that includes my wired connection and I haven't needed to reset yet.
5. User friendly GUI. If you're in the market for a new router, this is the one to get. You won't be sorry.

I purchase a NetGear AC1900 NightHawk after and it is fantastic!
So DO NOT BUY LinkSys and YES buy Netgear.

Running www.speedtest.net through this router, via a wireless connection, 2.4 and 5g, was about 40% less throughput than the previous router I replaced (TP-Link). Won't be buying Linksys for a while.
