    Slow WiFi, But stable.

I have had this a few days and have worked with it for too many hours trying to get it to have faster WiFi. I tried setting the n channel to 6,911 and actually auto is the best. I downloaded and installed the latest firmware (even though when I click check for update it says no update available). I have Comcast with a Motorola 6141 modem at 50mbs my one computer hooked up with cat5 gets 50-55mbs when I run a speed test. All my wifi equipment gets 16-18mbs no matter how close I get (sitting next to the router). I think it is throttling the speed because there are 3 slots for Media Prioritization and the 3 wireless connections I put in there get much higher wireless speed 30mbs plus (still not full speed). I will be returning this because it is slower than my old Belkin (who owns Linksys). On a good note the signal is very stable and range is a little better than the old Belkin. Also at 10ft away my TV that is on the 5ghz only gets 2 bars of signal and it's pegged out on the 2.4ghz. So back it goes, and my search continues.

    Solution to my streaming problems

My old Linksys E900 had served me well for a number of years, but my entry into the world of streaming audio (with a Bose SoundTouch wireless system) was kind of frustrating. Getting the wireless streaming and associated app posed a problem with the old single-band router, so this EA6350 seemed like a logical step up. All works perfectly now...the SoundTouch speaker responds instantly, whether I'm accessing it from desktop PC, iPad or Android phone. This router is super easy to set up, though getting the wireless printing was a hassle. As it turned out, that was more of a printer issue than a router issue. If you have only moderate audio streaming needs and want to generally upgrade to dual-band, this router is a great deal.

If you're looking for a simple solution, this one is it. Quick setup. Easy to use. Quick response times. I'm currently using it as an access point with a different wireless name. It was easier to set this product up than an actual access point, and it works very, very well for that purpose. The 4 wired ports make this router great for my tech bench so that I can keep customer PC's running via Ethernet for speed, OR WiFi for convenience. The SMART router configuration makes it easy for me to control this router through my one (1) Linksys account, too. One thing I wish it had was mounting holes to mount the unit flat against the wall.

    Not very Satisfied

Bought this to replace a very old linksys. My 8 year old linksys worked fine but was outdated and needed replacing. My family did not need a lot up down speed but we did want whole house coverage. The coverage is worse that what we had with the old one. We are very disappointed. I contacted linksys and they made some adjustments said it would be improved. Did not work. I was going to return but missed the VERY SHORT 15 day return window. I guess i will need to either get a better router or maybe a range extender. The product is easy to set up. The only other concern is that it creates quit a bit of heat. I would not purchase again.

The instructions provided were minimal. I could not get the router to connect to the laptop initially, so called support. I needed a cable to connect my laptop to the router directly, but once I had that everything went smoothly. Linksys support was great and everything works well.

Works fine. I upgraded to get something with a gigabit switch to be able to take advantage of a 200mbps cable modem connection. This did the job. Also, switched from an old Belkin router. Found out during setup that Linksys is now a Belkin product.

After two Netgear routers failed on me in one year (with Best Buy NOT honoring their warranty) I decided to accept things and move on with my life. I bought this Linksys product and I'm glad I did. It was easy to install and I have a better time connecting. Highly recommend!

I just bought this router, after using the Netgear N900 router, which lasted only 8 hours. The setup was simple and the user interface was something I was used to, since I had been a long time Linksys user. The router was online in less than five minutes. I am now getting 58mbs download speeds using the 5.0 GHZ bandwidth. Upload speeds of 20mbs, and the provider is Xfinity, which is very unreliable. I am paying for 20 mbs speeds. Since using this router I have never dropped a signal. I am also using the Motorla cable modem, 4x Modem. I can't complain about this router, it works great, the signal is super strong, and the interface is very intuitive.

The router was easy to setup. I was very satisfied with the features that it has. I was able to stream video from a Portable hard drive connected to this router to my TV with no problems. Also the FTP feature to access my files from anywhere is very good as well.

I have an Xbox One, Xbox 360, 2 smartphones, 2 laptops, and any of our guests' phones connected to the router and we have no connection issues. We have a 1900 sq. ft. home and the connection reaches every corner, and even the majority of our 1/3 acre yard.

I got the AC1200+ model EA6350 and am very happy with it so far. It connected with our Ipads, wireless printer, smart TV and an Iphone automatically with no problem, and STAYED connected. A great upgrade from our old WRT54G router which would drop the connection on my wife's Ipad occasionally. About all I did was change the network name and password to my own liking, and set my own router password. Pretty easy. Good range; Went outside on my deck about 50' from the router and still had a connection on my Ipad.

After using other cheaply made routers, I really appreciate what a great product this is. Set up was super clean. Router hub looks so slick!! This is a true "Smart" router. You can prioritize your devices. You can view your connected devices with their icons (I know its a small thing. But such things make it a premium product). One thing that I love the most is, while doing the initial setup it checked for any firmware updates and installed them right away. How cool is that! Makes perfect sense. I wonder why other routers don't do it. I had bought a TP-Link dual band router last year. I was totally unsatisfied!! It would lose internet now and then. I had to restart the router almost every week. After a while, 2.4GHz band just gave up. Was working with 5GHz with a reboot every week. They don't bother to release firmware update. Instead they release newer versions of the same router. Felt cheated! And went for Linksys. I am so glad I did. I am never going to go for cheap when it comes to router and modem. Just can't afford to have such headaches. Thanks Linksys.

I am pleased to say that this router has made me a believer in Linksys! I have used D-Link for almost 25 years. everthing about this router works very well. The android app to the user friendly setup. I only gave it 4 out of 5 because the usb connection does not stay connected all of the time. Get that small issue resolved and I would change my review of this router. Great router for anyone just getting into having WIFI at home.

We had to quickly find a replacement for our old wi-fi router and this was what was available. We have been pleased with it. Set up was very easy. Both my sons use it with their laptops and my wife uses it with her laptop. We have a two story home and it provides service to everyone throughout the house. Speed seems to be very good. Everyone streams videos and the lag time isn't that bad.
