Great wireless router for watching movies and gaming.

Best Buy associate helped in picking this router. Took it out of the box and it was a very easy set up. Even downloaded the app for my phone. Love that you can have secure and guest sign in.

This router is exceptional for my kids and I. We all enjoy it together. Its fast, and with its ability to sync to an app. Amazing! I really enjoy this router, and I'd love to recommend it.

I purchased one of these routers for my home wifi to utilize the dual band. Has worked flawlessly so I bought one for my office to replace my outdated one for common area wifi. highly recommend

This router is great for gaming given that you have 50mbps or more on your internet service provider and also reaches the whole house good. Also the app makes it fun and easy to use

Router works ok with devices that are hard wired to it, but every week or so we have to reboot it as it has lost internet. It does not work well with wireless devices. I have a 1600 square foot home and had to get an extender to get WiFi in the bedrooms that are 25 feet and 2 walls away. Numerous times a day a wireless device will loose connection to the Internet but not the router, devices still have full signal. I have to go into device setup forget wireless connection and reconnect to the router. At other times you can have two wireless devices doing the same thing on the Internet one device will sit and search forever while the other one gets a response. No I do not have device priority turned on. This happens on both bands. As far as the smart WiFi app goes, I am not sure if it is the app or my router but when I try to connect half the time I get my router is not responding please connect to the internet, which the signal bar is full and I can get on the internet. I have to reboot the router to get the WiFi app to connect to the router. It is sad they took away the direct connect to your router from a wired computer. I know a lot of people give this router a good review but I have been working with the router for over 6 months because of the reviews and now wish I would have returned it for a different one, instead of tying to resolve the issues. My opinion, if you buy one and have any of these issues return it and get a different one.

I've had a few different routers in the past and they all have their own quirks and problems. I haven't had any issues with this router so far and it seems to work really well!

Easiest to setup ever. Great for gaming/streaming. My family has three phones two tablets one smart tv, two laptops, one game console and a dvr all supported by this beast.

Excellent dual band router. 5G/2.5G with 4 ethernet ports + wireless. CALL LINKSYS customer service first to set up router to your system(s) and provider. It is NOT "plug and play."

I brought this router home with great expectations, plugged it in according to the quick start guide, and it worked! Much improved speeds and wifi connection is fine.

well worth the price charged. I was looking for the least expensive router, when a Blue Shirt recommended this one, I was skeptical, but I bought it anyway. Glad I did.

Their idea of parental controls is to individually type in blocked addresses and since I don't have an extensive list of adult websites I tried to use OpenDNS for content filtering. There's a bug in the Firmware that doesn't commit the changes to Statically assigned DNS servers. Both OpenDNS and Linksys Support confirmed this issue. Has a ton of great features that I like such as being able to cut off access to particular devices at particular times, but this bug is a deal breaker for me. Would recommend to anyone who isn't interested in content filtering, but if you are do not buy this router.

Great purchase! Super fast, doesn't slow my connection down at all. Streams amazing with the beam focusing capabilities. Overall, I would definitely recommend!

We purchased this router on the recommendation of a Best Buy salesman (never again) and have had nothing but trouble from it--after we were out of the 14 day return period or it would have gone straight back for a refund. That's $100 I'll never see again. The 5 Ghz band works fine but the 2.4 Ghz band is completely unreliable and only getting worse by the day. Several times a day, the 60 Mbps connection drops to 1 Mpbs or less, making it almost impossible even to log in to the router to adjust the settings to alleviate the problem. I need to change the channel multiple times a day just to make it semi-usable. I've restored to factory settings three times and reinstalled the firmware multiple times. It's in a open space with no interference issues. The house is small and well within the advertised range. There is no setting or adjustment left to make. My conversations with technical support only suggested things I've already done. It just doesn't work and I'm irate that I'm stuck with it. Steer clear of this junk. It might be fine if you're sticking with the 5 Ghz band. If you need the 2.4 Ghz band, it'll work fine for a week or two then the speed and signal strength will plummet, getting worse and worse as time goes on. The cheap $40 router this thing replaced was far superior and reliable.

I was in need of a good router for keeping up with streaming and multitasking wifi. I've heard good things about Linksys. I'm glad I decided on their router.

This router works great. My house runs about 12-15 devices, and this router can run all at once with great speeds and efficiency. Would highly recommend!!
