We are games and so are the kids, so sometimes we have several devices using bandwith at the same time, this router lets us all stay connected without any drops or freezes.

Kids have no choice but to play outside with me and everyone when that happens. Now if they could make a gadget to make them eat broccoli. Lol.

We upgraded the router as the 1200 was not strong enough for our 2-story home and the wifi did not reach the master bedroom on the second floor. The upgraded router still did not provide updated coverage and was ultimately returned for a different brand.

I had the Linksys N600 prior to this and was only getting a maximum of 20-25Gbps download speeds according to Speedtest. With this, I have been getting over 50Gbps from my Xfinity Speed Boost service!

We went from a wireless router that had a maximum hook-up for 6 devices to this one. Thought it would be a good investment. Everything slowed way down with 3 people on it. Does not seem to be a good buy for the money. With smart phones, a printer and 3 computers, it does not appear to handle it very well. I don't think that is an excessive amount either.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Linksys EA6400. Do you experience the slow speed on both the wired and wireless connections? If yes, a firmware upgrade is a good start. If it happens on the wireless connection only, we recommend that you adjust the router's wireless channel to avoid possible interfering wireless signal. Relocating the router to avoid physical obstruction is also advised. Check out this article:
