Just unpacking, once I had the router sitting my hands, you could tell the quality is good. After plugging everything in, powering on, the setup was very easy. The control panel is very user friendly, and I like the option to acces the router/network from my phone. My old router was not able to send reliable signal to everywhere in the house (roughly 1100sqft). This new router, no problem, and at 5ghz, it's awesome. Would definitely recommend to someone needing a router.

First the good: I had this out of the box and set up in about 5 minutes while holding an in depth phone conversation. It was that easy to set up. Simply connected to my router using my iPad and performed the simple set up. Customization came later. Love the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi app. It allows you to view any device connected to your network. It lacks the ability to turn on access control or to block any unknown connections. Because I have only had the router a few days I cannot say this is impossible from the router URL. For me, this is an important security miss. Again, a standard in my previous two routers. There are several applications listed as apps for the Linksys router but only one appears to be applicable to this iteration of their router and this is a paid enhancement to restrict website access. This functionality is built into my security software so it is a no for me. For the basics such as rebooting the router, the app is passable. The bad. The guest networks are not customizable and simply clone the name of the parent network. They also use one shared password.. The guest network has simply 'Disappeared' several times needing a router reboot to get it to show up again. The 5 GHZ mode only seems to be good for a/Ac connection types. My Windiws computer cannot even see the 5 GHZ even when set on mixed where it connects to either band on the older router. I thought I would see an improvement in my Apple products with MIMO built for ac connectivity but the performance is basically the same as on my 6 year old 802.11 a/b/g/n. My biggest hope for this device was the range. Again, this was a disappointment compared to the old router. One room over with an open door is fine, two rooms and signal is iffy. This router has an equivalent range of the Bluetooth on my smartphone to put it into perspective

This router has very good coverage, reliability, and is easy to set up. I really like the iPhone App.

This has been our main router for the last year or so. I had a technical question that I needed help with - and being very "non-technical" (I'm a RN) I lost the connection chat I had with the representative. She took the time to email me the complete instructions so that I could accomplish my task. Very professional and helpful!

I am not paying for the fastest possible speeds from my cable company and was more interested in future-proofing my router. Can't speed to every feature and nuance but I know for what it is it works fine. I have no desire at this time to customize it; setup was a breeze and painless. Should be the same for all but the completely tech averse - pretty much plug and play after following basic instructions

I don't buy very many routers but when I do it's pretty much always linksy. The ac 1900 is pretty good definitely quicker then the old N router I had by linksy I think it was the ea 3500, after 3 yrs the speeds started to suffer, so I needed a new one thus ac 1900 caught my eye and I had it for about a week and it's really good, the signal strength is good throughout my 2 bedroom house, and the speeds are awesome definitely recommend buying if your in the market for a decent priced router.

Works really well providing great coverage for all of our computers, TV, games, etc with fast speed. Easy to install and set up.

I purchased this product after several reviews online for "best router 2017". This came up as the top router for a large home. Since we just moved into our 2550 sqft house, this seemed like the perfect fit and was less than $100. To it's credit, it streams very fast and has a pretty good range with 5 and 2.5 GHz. My major complaint is that the wifi will kick me or my wife or kid off at random times from our iPhones and iPads. I see that the wifi icon has been replaced with 3g or LTE, and when I open my iPhone in the wifi section it usually recognizes and reconnects (sometimes I have to manually connect and input the security password). Even my PC is sometimes interrupted, and it is connected via LAN. Interestingly enough my Firestick is solid and has yet to be disconnected. Very frustrating and it's getting old... quick. I spoke with Linksys customer service and all they had me do was a factory reset which did not help. It's a good overall product but the constant involuntary booting of the wifi connection may drive me to purchase a Netgear Nighthawk in a month or so.

The router was easy to set up. I just had to follow the step by step instructions and had it ready to use in minutes. I can manage it where ever I am.

After my Linksys EA3500 broke of only 2 years, being bought brand new, of constant non stop use it slowed my internet speed to a crawl. I couldn't stream Netflix and download a game without it saying no more then 5mb/s. I called my provider who had my hook up my xbox to the internet port in the wall and did confirm the router was indeed the problem. I knew it was caput. I made an immediate trip to my Bestbuy and asked a sales person about another one the company had "recommended" i use. It was a Netgear N600 which he informed me was a 2007 series model which he told me wouldn't work. It wouldn't be able to handle all my needs for my smart tv(4K), xbox one s, computer, phones and chromecast. All this without a current roommate who would bring more deivces to the network which I'm already at 6 devices. He recommended this model because it can handle 10+ devices along with my 4K streaming, computer, xbox one s and every other downloads i would need to do simultaneously. He said this could handle all the devices me and a future roommate might have between us. I came home used my Linksys Smart Wifi account and set it up to my old router settings and BAM! all my devices connected instantly. My internet speed was so fast again especially with my provider doubling my speed from 50/25 to 100/50. I was no longer at 10mb/s, instead i was up to 73/41 which was a vast improvement.

This router covers my whole house now. I had to have rogers bridge the Linksys-Max Stream AC 1900 Dual band router through the rogers router. Rogers was very helpful and after that Linksys customer service stepped me through on setting the router up. This product is great and the guys at Geek Squad were very helpful in pointing me to the right selection for me. Thank you.

My internet provider supplied me with an atrocious modem/router combo that couldn't stream video more than 20 ft. away. The EA 7500 was a snap to set up as a bridge with my existing modem. Very happy with the strong signal on the 5Ghz band. There is virtually no speed loss at 30 ft. Like the app features allowing for device prioritization.

This is AMAZING! The Wi-Fi that is provided is so FAST! The install was so easy and I was up and running in no time at all! The thing I loved about it too.... NO DISC! Plug And Play and your ready. Wi-Fi now upstairs, downstairs, and outside... our old Linksys was good..... but this is AMAZING and GREAT! Would recommend this to EVERYONE!

Bought this to replace my old E4200 as we move to more devices and stream more media. Simple setup and administration. Located it centrally upstairs in a single story ranch style home of 2800 sq ft. WiFi reaches everywhere at our subscribed speed of 60mbs down/5mbs up including the basement, attached garage, patio, and 70' down the driveway.

Top notch router that can keep up with the latest video streaming and on-line gaming. Setup was easy and management software is easy to use.

I purchased this router looking to expand some range and to have faster speeds. I was told to switch to a different brand but I been loyal to Linksys and decided to give it another shot. This router was the smartest choice I've made and I'm very pleased with it, I'm getting range and speeds I would of never expected from this router.
