This is a nice upgrade router. The ability to connect 12 devices with no lag is amazing. I will also put the 3.0 USB port to use with a high capacity storage device for my network. I see no difference between streaming Netflix wireless and wired through my ROKU TV in the short amount of time since I have made the upgrade to this router.

Got Xfinity and bought this router rather than renting theirs. It works great and the app makes it really easy to manage the settings of the router. I even use it to keep my sister-in-law off my network.

The setup for this router was intuitive and really quick. It is about twice as fast as my previous router and I couldn't be happier with the product.

Mom needed an upgrade from an old Netgear Wireless Access Point because it would drop connection if too many devices were connected. Plus it was only wireless B and G. This was on sale and simple but powerful enough to do what she needed.

Had trouble with last router reseting to factory defaults, sorry i left linksys, now back to stay! Very happy with performance and ease of install.

It's an awesome device for streaming with a considerable good range, easy to setup too, and I can monitor it with the smartphone app.

My house is about 2500 square feet and I had dead spots. With this new router they are gone. Streaming has been great, no buffering. Buy it!

Bought this device weeks ago. So reviewing after extensive testing and usage. Pros: * It has very good UI for managing everything. * easy to setup * easy to manage * Wifi performance and coverage is best in the price range and better than the ISP's device. Cons: * For wifi channels the firmware doesn't select free available channels, so had to do it manually to get max performance. Suggestion: * These should be autoscan option to select free wifi channel to avoid collisions with neighbouring wifi devices.

it's a pretty good router with an exceptional GUI setup interface. The only problem that I have been experiencing intermittently is that it will lose the internet connection and I'll have to reset the router completely for it to restore connectivity. The reason I know that it's the router is because I only have to reset the router to restore connectivity. The wifi is exceptional and it seems to handle all my simultaneous video streaming connections flawlessly. I love the fact that I can have one network name for both the 2.4ghz and the 5ghz connections. I'm hoping Linksys will release a firmware update to address the intermittent internet connection loss.

I received this router to review, but I was not expecting much since I was already using one of the top rated routers. I have 4 teenagers and 2 businesses based in my home and it is not unusual for 4+ video streams plus Audio/Video conferencing and music streaming to be going all at once. The performance and connectivity has been so strong that I held off on my review for a week to make sure it was not a fluke. With my prior router, I would usually see good performance for about 12-24hrs and the performance of the network would then drop until I needed to reset the network. The EA7500 has been able to handle 14 high usage devises (Gaming and videos on PC’s, PS4 with gaming and streaming, VoIP phone, Webex/Skype audio and video, 5 iPhones) at one time plus a VoIP Phone and it has performed fantastically! Installing the EA7500 was quick and easy. I connected to the wireless signal that was pre-installed and then entered linksyssmartwifi.com in my browser's address bar, which launched the Welcome Page. From there it was about 2 minutes to configure the router. If you have not already been using a router and don’t know what you want, the Setup utility analyzes your connections and walks you through the initial wireless settings (SSID and security) and router-password setup. When the setup is finished, you can create a free Smart Wi-Fi account to control your router and your home network from anywhere using a mobile app. The Linksys Smart Wi-Fi has been very helpful for me because it allows me to quickly see who is on the network, limit the time that my kids devices can be connected, determine which devices I want to give prioritization and allow guests to have separate Wi-Fi access. The literature lists the EA7500 as a “Medium Residence” product. I have a 3-level home with 2000+ sq. ft. per level with the router in the bottom level. I paired the EA7500 with a Linksys RE6300 repeater that I already owned and there are no dead zones in my home. Over all this router has been a great improvement and I would recommend this router to anyone that wants fast reliable internet for multiple devices including small businesses and especially gamers.

Reaches the corner of my basement from opposite corner of the house. Easy setup. Can adjust from an app on my phone. Love it.

Got rid of my older router and installed this one. Major improvement so far with strong signal. Easy to install also

We have around 10-15 devices in our office and signal reaches everywhere and have never had a problem yet! Great Buy!

This router was recommended by an associate in the store. She did caution me that it could be a little more difficult to setup than a comparable Netgear router, but I was ok with that. Setup seemed pretty simple to me and I was able to configure via my ipad instead of having to hook my computer up as I have had to on prior router installs. The signal seems to reach every part of my house with little to no loss in strength. I would highly recommend this to my friends.

This router has the best range of any router I've ever had by far. Set up is super easy and the app makes managing WiFi settings pretty very convenient

I asked one of the associates at Best Buy what Dual Band meant and what router I need to keep up with the fast speeds of the Cable Company. He graciously sat me in front of a computer and pulled up all the information I needed to make my purchase of a new wireless router. Since my daughter and son in law installed it for me, I've had great wifi speeds on multiple devices at once. I'm very happy with the product.
