My five year old linksys failed, had to replace it quickly. This unit was easy to install. Included a guest network. The signal strength is great.

First off compared to some of the monster sized AC MIMO wifi routers available this router is practically petit in size. With only three antennas it doesn't look like some alien bug with eight antennas sticking out of it that could run off down the street at any moment. Wife was happy it wasn't some bright red color you could see from across the room. Setup was easy, took less than ten minutes total and it was up and running like a champ. Doesn't have a bunch of blinking LED's in front so you can put it pretty much put it anywhere without it looking out of place or distracting. User interface is easy to use and configure and it also works well with the Linksys app on iOS. Lots of settings are easy to configure without a lot of trouble. Coverage is great in a two story 2400 sq. ft. house. Router is on the second floor and the signal on both 2.4 and 5 ghz is flawless with a strong signal everywhere with no dead spots anywhere including the ground floor and both front and back yards. No need for WiFi extenders or even powerline adapters. Most of my wifi clients are AC and I have at least 25 different devices that we use on a regular basis. They include an XBox, Apple iPads, 4K smart TV's, cell phones, 3 Rokus, Sling box, Android tablets, home security system, Nest thermostat, wifi cameras, blue ray players, you name it. Five of the devices are connected 24/365 and so far not a hiccup or a dropped signal on anything. Wifi speed is very fast on 5ghz and I've had a number of devices going at the same time streaming movies and an Xbox playing and it doesn't miss a beat everything works great with no lags at all. Streams 4K video through Roku 4 with ease and looks fantastic doing it. About MIMO, I have a couple of IPad Air 2's that are MIMO enabled and when both connected at the same time on same network there was an increase in throughput speed on both devices. From around 195/20 Mbps to 250/24 on both devices. All in all a great router with excellent coverage and speed that doesn't get bogged down or crippled with a bunch of devices going at the same time, easy to set up and so far is solid without any issues at all.

Upgraded from a simple older Belkin router to this new Linksys AC1900 dual band router, mainly for the range and multiple user experience. Old router was fine as long as you were within range and had basically one user streaming. One person streaming consumed the router bandwidth hard for anybody else to do anything. Now the range is greatly improved and multiple users can be streaming at once. The router has a host of other features have not really gotten into those yet. Very happy with improved bandwidth and range.

Great range and speed, covers whole house no problem , upgrade to my internet rented router.

This router works great and has a stronger signal and broader range than I expected. We use several devices at the same time and don't have any trouble.

Bought this one one sale. Otherwise it's a bit pricey. No problems so far. Easy to set up. Good, but not great range. Overall, I'm satisfied.

I live in Apalachin (in a neighborhood w/700+ houses) and have terrible internet and cell phone service. After years of fighting with Time Warner I took matters into my own hands and started replacing things. After buying this I was able to stop resetting our WiFi; I was resetting our old router/modem combo anywhere from 2-12 times daily. Totally worth the money to get their sub par service closer to working. It’s not a perfect solution as Verzion and Spectrum are both horrible but it’s made a marked improvement.

This is one of the cheapest MU-MIMO routers that I could find on the market. It is very reliable and easy to set up. My only complaint is that it does not support Time Machine on OS X.

We bought this router to replace our old lynksys router. So far it has been great. The range is excellent and very easy to set up.

We'd had our old router for a number of years and it was not able to meet our needs anymore. I looked on line and this Linksys router had good reviews and it was on sale for what looked like a really good price. When I went into the store the sales assoc suggested a different model, but I asked him about this one and he didn't realize this product had the same speed as the one he suggested and since it was on sale the Linksys was less. He was surprised and said I should get this one. The set-up instructions weren't as clear as I would like, which is why I didn't give a 5 rating, but once I got it up and running I was happy and have continued to be very happy with this product.

Getting great speed with solid connectivity. Easy to setup connect and set up with existing network setup as well.

Great Router. This one was a replacement for an old router. Much faster than the old one. Installation was really simple and straight forward.

This router has almost eliminated dropped signal. It was easy to set up and actually looks great in the office.
