I purchased this product to extend my wifi coverage in my 4500sq ft home. The product advertised to cover up to 9000 sq ft and I was getting minimal coverage. Additionally, the Wifi 6e connectivity was not consistent with my connected devices. The signal would continuously drop. However, with all that being said, when the system was up and running I had tested speeds up to average 952 mbps.

WiFi is fast. Can get 1Gbps+ if close. Setup was fair. Main node setup was easy. Got 2nd node connected easily. 3rd note had problems and had to spend hours on Linksys support trying all sorts of things to finally get it up and running. 3rd node loses connection to main node fairly often though it is somewhat remote. Still like the product but YMMV.

I completely understand why this has gotten negative reviews on other online retailer sites (one specifically, you know the one). I just set mine up, upgrading from the slower wifi 5, smaller towers. Something that may not seem obvious is that you need to plug the wire from your gateway into the black "5Gbps/Internet" port, which is confusing labeling. Otherwise, you will never get an internet signal and complete setup. Another tip and this will probably be specific to a few people, but after setting up all 3 nodes, IF you happen to have ethernet at the child node locations...USE IT. It will create a super mesh network where the nodes don't depend on the backhaul channel to get internet to each other. I understand that this may seem like it defeats the purpose of getting a mesh network in the first place, but trust me, it only enhances it (you will still be happy with the lesser speeds without doing this). As for the UI/web interface, what can I say...for those used to tons of bells and whistles and the granularity of most gaming routers, you will be disappointed. But I was used to this from my previous Linksys setup. Honestly for me, I hardly ever had to mess with it after the initial installation anyway. Lastly, find a way to update the main/parent node FIRST AND FOREMOST, even if you have to jump through some hoops like connecting directly to it via a laptop, etc...trust me, it will fix tons of setup problems that you would otherwise have when you set up the child nodes. Good luck with your installation.

I used the previous generation Linksys product with 5 nodes and it kept dropping devices probably because I had way to many smart devices. With this new setup I only have three and get better coverage and no more dropped devices

I traded up from a Linksys 5 Mesh System. This system covers my house (2 stories and a basement), my garage (separate) and my yard 1/2 acre). I have not suffered a loss of signal due to the system since I installed it about a month ago.

Expensive but worth every penny! This thing will bring your Wi-Fi experience to another level. Good bye buffering forever. Extremely well made and absolutely a dream to install using the Linksy App. We use it together with Spectrum Wi-Fi 6 router and couldn’t be any happier.

Brand new system and all I had is trouble with it. Easy to set up using the app, but it worked a month and all of the sudden nodes got disconnected. Had to go thru whole setup again after hours on the phone with Linksys. I had all nodes on ethernet, but for some unknown reason, they had to be paired wirelessly. Even though there is an option to add wired nodes. Worked with lvl 2 and 3 support on two different occasions to get this system to work. Ended up returning it. I like that it had multiple ethernet ports on each node. replaced by eero and I didn't have any hiccups yet.

I was somewhat wary about purchasing a "new-ish" 6e mesh system, especially when my WiFi 5 systems were pretty crappy. I still needed more range than my router could give me, so I took the plunge. This time, Linksys got it right. One module acts as the router and the other two as nodes. It doesn't matter which one you choose to be the router because they're all capable of being that. I now have WiFi out the front door, down the driveway, and into the street. Never had that type of coverage. Though I don't have any 6e equipment yet, it still seems faster than my previous setup. It always drove me crazy when I encountered dead spots just outside my door. Now that problem is gone. Security cameras and outside streaming occurs flawlessly. Bravo, Linksys!

Not a dead spot in the house! I live on half an acre and walked to every corner of it and was still able to get over 100mbps. It’s not perfect and It will drop a device from time to time and I have had to reset it a few times. Installation is simple enough. My biggest complaint is the price but u have to pay to play. I live in a 2600sqft home and the main node is in my office with a mirror in it that covers an entire wall and I get no less than 500 mbps through out the house via wifi I have 1 gig. My XSX is hooked up through Ethernet and it gets the full gig most of the time. And the app needs more options on it especially one that would let you choose what devices you want to use on each node. I would recommend it if you want the latest and greatest and you don’t mind spending the money. But Because of the price and limitations on the app to customize the way you use it I could only give it 4 stars.

The product was great for several months and then started to have issues. 1) The app to set it up kept crashing 2) The light on the node turns red, and the app is unable to find it, but the wifi still works. 3) I had to hardwire all the products as the mesh was not doing its job. It appears it is a firmware issue rather than hardware. It can be extremely frustrating to set up and reset when necessary. For such an expensive product, there should not be these basic problems.

Love this velop mesh system. Setup using the app was easy to follow. Setup all 3 nodes and also updated the firmware. Setup of 1st node was easy and the 2nd node. The nodes had to be close or else will drop connection The 3rd node was sporadicly droping the connection and reconnect.Using the app it told to move the nodes closer which i did for the 3rd node and now works great. Had issue with old surface 3 could not connect to SSID and tech support was great fixed the issue. Speed is fast and consistent . So far it is a great buy despite the high cost of the 3 pack.

This mesh system is easy to install and powerful enough to penetrate walls and floors. Even though it’s better to connect to the WAN connector, we had to connect to one of the other connectors on the modem and it worked fine.

Pretty good system. We don’t get as much square footage as advertised but we are going through a wall. I’m a little disappointed that it doesn’t have good reach when one is almost right on top of the other on the second floor.

I actually returned this. I got to to replace my older Linksys ac2200 thinking I would see massive improvements. I was wrong. I have several Wi-Fi 6 devices and 1 6E. I got nearly the same speeds as I did with my old units and the distance benefits were negligible. I also had huge variations in speed when measuring in the same area. I never had that with the old units. I’ll probably wait a little before making the jump to 6E. For the price of these they should be better.

I owned a different Velop mesh system that i was very happy with, but now that we are working and going to school from home there were additional electronics that needed to be connected so i decided to upgrade. What was really nice about the upgradeis the ability to integrate my current Velop nodes (bonus). This system was so easy to install and it is amazing. The speed of uploads and downloads has increased substantially. Linksys you have outdone yourselves with this system. Absolutely love it..
