It's an alright product. It has worked well for what has been needed. The setup was a little time consuming but I like that device indicates with a colored light the current status of our wifi/internet service. Probably should have gone with the gaming wifi router and spent a little more money as sugguested by our internet provider technician.

I replaced my old Belkin to try and capture more wifi data speed from my Cox Cable system. Extremely satisfied so far. Speeds increased from 20mbs to as high as 160mbs! I especially like the mesh design with the ability to add more nodes for complete coverage. Setup was a breeze using the app on my phone.

Feel like the signal should be a bit stronger. It's no better than my older AC-1700 linksys router even though it has 3 rather than 2 bands but perhaps that's just my lack of understanding of what does and doesn't help signal strength. Other than that, it's a solid route. No issues thus far.

After buying another router Spectrum recommended that didn't work well for our set-up, we decided on this one. No complaints. It doesn't kick us off Spectrum network frequently like the other brand did. Happy with it. Maybe Spectrum should offer their customers a higher quality router.

The Wi-Fi Router meets expectations. The installation instructions were lacking a basic preliminary overview. The installation instructions assumed the user was already tech savvy. The instructions were weak. I tried to return the unit after a failed attempt to set it up.

    Beware No USB

One of the reasons I bought this because I needed a stronger and faster Wifi signal. The other reason is when reading the specs, it said that the USB can be used for network drives. That is the only thing that made the decision to buy it. The linksys router that I replaced this with did have a working USB port and I used it for a connecting a network drive. The USB port on this router is "FOR FUTURE USE". WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN? I SPENT ALL THAT MONEY TO BASICALLY DOWNGRADE MY NETWORK!! The only reason I gave this 3 stars and not 1 is because it did expand my signal. Other than that, it is truly a downgrade.

The 2.4 band loses connectivity too often. It averages once per day and takes approximately 30 minutes to reboot. The range on the 5.0 band is fair. The connectivity on the 5.0 is fairly good. It was not ready to go out of the box. Was on the phone for an hour+ with the tech department. The tech service would be rated high.

Was having some problems with my wi fi router so I picked this up at Best Buy. The one I was using barely reached beyond my front door. This one reaches all the way to the intersection, at least 4 times as far! No longer having any wi fi problems. I highly recommend!

Since purchasing this router all of our TVs receive good connection to stream movies and shows. Before this purchase there was a lot of lag and the show would stop many times to reload. Didn’t give it a 5 just because it didn’t help increase the connection to our outside patio.

Had to chat with customer support to help get lgged in and create an account. Once I got everything set up it definately made a difference on my wifi speed. So far speeds have been pretty good. Have about 15 devices connected with no problems.

Not easy to work with when using other devices in the house for routing also. Lost its value in no time. I paid about $200 for this and within no time you could buy them for $80.

Product works better than expected. Power of the signal extension is very good. My son bought one and I saw such a difference in strength of signal at his house. I bought mine a few days later. I did have to call support on the hook up but that was fast and easy.

I had just the two Velop nodes which gave my house decent coverage but I wanted more. That’s why I added the the Linksys AC 3000 as my main router and still have two nodes for a complete mesh network. Now I have complete WIFI coverage with a firewall and IP version 6 my system is complete.

While this router did everything I asked of it, having to use a cell phone app to do the initial setup is confusing at best. The Linksys router it replaced was set up from a web page on the router, which was much more convenient.
