I am not a technical wizard but I needed to replace my router and went shopping at Best Buy. I read packaging and compared prices and asked one of the Geeks about two that seemed to meet my needs. He pointed out the difference and I followed his recommendation. It was easy to install and works perfectly.

I think this product is very good. My only complaint is that the installation is rather complicated. Perhaps the fact I am 95 is part of the problem. However, my Geek Squad member installed it for me,=.

this was just what we needed to cover all the devices in out ranch style home. It covers from one end to the other which is roughly 1400 square feet, and we have 22 device that are connected to it.

BSTBUY For the money ! Now i have very very strong wi-fi at the far end of the house. Better than any wi-fi extender - hands down.. . That makes me happy

Very good router and easy set up and configuration.

Really good product. One minor issue is the setup page before the login screen. This page recomends to install the apps. But it does not mentoin to click on it to get the normal webrouser login promt. This took some time to figure out. Rest all works as should with a wifi router.

Purchased for office network. A little difficult to transition from a non-Mesh router set-up but Linksys provided excellent support and was able to get the netwoprk up and running. Pleased with the product and support.

We are like 7 people in this home and we have excellent network connection since we bought this product.

No too easy to set up as a bridge router. The online directions are too "jargony" and more complicated than need be.

The router has a steady signal but the range is not the best. Bought a Linksys RE7000 extender end even in close-proximity the signal drops on a regular basis. There are no obstructions or additional connection interference's to explain the loss of connection.

Easy to set up via the app. While many routers have dual bands, this one does, too, but by default has them as "Mixed" so there is no need to select a particular band for a particular device - it occurs automatically. I am pleased with a good product at a value price.

Works very well. No problem so far. Note: Both bands have default same names, so you may need to change that. Otherwise the network on 2 bands are interconnected and your devices can see each other no matter which band they are using. I bought it on deal and it is very much worth the money.

I’ve had to restart the router a handful of times in just a few months of ownership when the speed crashed out of nowhere. The mobile app is also annoying to use, and took a solid 30 minutes of troubleshooting to get my phone to connect. The software is also underwhelming, though I’m willing to admit that I may just be a curmudgeon who prefers more granular control. I also don’t like the status being tied in with a single light, though again, I may just be too old school. Aside from the initial setup and infrequent resets, it has proven to largely just be a “set it and forget it” piece of tech. When it does its job well it’s fine, but the few times you have to actually interact with it it’s unnecessarily frustrating.
