The app made it very easy to set up. Our internet speed are dramatically faster than with the 5 year old router. We also have better coverage in the house. We haven't tried it while we are outside.

I've had this router for a little over a year now and it has performed flawlessly. My 2 kids, wife, and I can all be using devices, while also using Spectrum on the TV, with no issues. The instructions were straightforward and setup was easy.

This was an great way to get into the WiFi 6 ecosystem. At the time I purchased it, it was priced right. The installation was a snap. We had just upgraded our service with our ISP, so we had 1 GHz service coming off the fiber at the modem. The modem provided wired and wireless services. The new router provided a complete second set of wired and wireless connectivity. The delicious icing on the cake, the whole family had just upgraded to mega killer phones and we were able to take advantage of the WiFi 6 in at least a fundamental way. We're ready to test capabilities and grow with the technologies. The 21st century is amazing.

Excellent router! My previous router was a Linksys as well, but it was aging (10 years old) and had seen better days. The Max-Stream AX1800 was a significant improvement and I never have any issues with my home network, even when my children come visit and place high demands on my bandwidth. It's been handling my Internet connection quite well, never have I had to unplug the router to "reset" the connection, knock on wood. The Linksys app is simple and intuitive to use and makes managing my network much easier; no longer do I have to sit at the computer managing it. Overall, an outstanding router!

Upgraded to this model from the Linksys AC1200. I had 5 good years from the old Linksys product so when I upgraded I wanted to maintain brand loyalty. Setup was incredibly easy with the Linksys app and upgrading from an older model might have made this easier. The app walks you through the setup process and all of my wirelessly connected devices recognized the new router immediately. This model is advertised as covering 1700 sq ft home so keep this in mind when purchasing. My home is around 1300 sq ft and I have full signal in the furthest rooms from the router. ****Also important to note is that to take advantage of the new wifi 6 technology, YOU MUST HAVE WIFI 6 COMPATIBLE HARDWARE.**** Router also has a 1.2GHz quad core processor and is running cool.

I’ve had very good luck with Linksys routers. I have had horrible luck with TP Link and Netgear is hit and miss for me as well. This had worked great so far. Price is good and speeds are great. Very easy to set up with the Linksys app. Take only a matter of minutes. Only knock on it is depending on where your modem is located (you do need a modem for this too work) the range can be good to average. If it’s in the center of a decent sized house it should be fine. If that’s not an issue, then I definitely recommend!

Replaced our Spectrum router that kept dropping signal. Solid performance overall. We have our television and PS4 connected via Ethernet and about 6 devices via WiFi. The signal reaches throughout our apartment and we only notice minor slowdown on our Roku TV when streaming, which is expected as it's in the furthest room. The app is okay, it does it's job of presenting basic info about the router along with options such as parental controls and guest access.

This router bats above it's league. Our house is 3000 square feet and it covers the whole house plus the patio and side yards (where I have Arlo cameras). It even covers the garage despite being fairly far away. The app is well designed and makes maintaining the network very convenient. WiFi 6 keeps it future-proofed.

My old router was 15 years old so decided to upgrade . I picked the linksys as this was fine for my 1600 sf home. i tested the new router and woks in all areas of my home.I have the router in the middle of my house. Speed test indicated triple the speed of my old router. Guess it was time to upgrade!

Great router and perfectly priced. App works great, too. Easy to use. I'm not a technical person and had zero issues getting this set up when my neighborhood finally got internet. The app was super helpful and walked me through setup step by step. Several devices are no problem for this router. I live out of town and I haven't lost signal since Ive had this device. Its been a lifesaver.

Upgraded my folks from an old Linksys N600 E2500 unit connected to 100MB cable broadband. Big difference in speed and coverage, especially for 5Ghz and Wifi6. Phone, laptop, tablet, Chromecast and Samsung TV all stream without issue. Easy to configure using the app, but kind of annoying for someone that knows what they are doing. Going to the advanced page using he web interface works well and allows more advanced configuration.
