Purchased new router and called company that made it to help me set it up. Should have called Geek Squad. Had to call them later to get my wireless printer to work.

It works well after more than a year of purchase. Wifi speed is enough for VR gameplay

So I was planning on getting a new router for my apartment. Was using an AC router (WIFI 5) router so I looked up the reviews and they were pretty good. This router uses a mesh system that tries to determine which band you should use and if you have more Linksys nodes, you can use them with it. I live in a small apartment so don't need more nodes. It automatically chooses either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz. You have no option to change it on the app unless you go into 192.168.1.1 The 2.4 GHz band on this router is absolutely awful. On the old AC router, I would get around 30 Mbps from a 200mbps plan. On this router, I get 1-10 Mbps right next to the router. Something with WIFI 6 makes 2.5ghz bands really bad. The 5ghz is really good on the old device I would get 80-180 Mbps on this one I get 130-230 Mbps depending on the range. Even if it's like 10-20ft. But like I said you have to manually go into 192.168.1.1 to separate the SSID's because if you don't separate them it'll sometimes read your game console or phone as a 2.4ghz device and it'll just be extremely slow. I walk 10 feet away from it at times and it would switch to 2.4 and my speed just vanishes. It takes forever to browse when it does this. I'm not sure why Linksys makes you have only one SSID on the app. But either way, the 2.4 GHz is unusable. This router gets 2 stars because when it works, it works well. But it's very very very inconsistent if you have only one SSID. The fact that I have to manually go into the routers IP and create two separate SSID's instead of allowing that in the app makes it very annoying. And when you do change it the app still only shows one SSID. The 2.4ghz band is awful. Not sure why 2.4ghz band is so bad on this wifi 6 device. If you use 2.4ghz for range or for older devices this is 100% not the product for you. I don't recommend you buy this router. I'm returning it asap. I am also on the latest firmware update as

Easy set up and installation and works as needed. Price was a little higher than I would like but overall I cant complain.

I don’t really have much in the way of complaints. It was super easy to set up and works very well! It’s a great high performance router without breaking the bank too much.

Somehow getting better internet speed on my iPhone 12 Pro on wireless than my pc which is wired in. Setup was super simple and didn't take long before I had my WiFi up and running.

I, use it for short period of time and it was good beside the coverage for my house was not strong enough. I need it a little more coverage but overall good product.

been 2 years, still working great, dont like that a APP is REQUIRED for setup, you cant go to setup via a webpage on this unit.

This is my third Linksys router and it was a breeze to establish connectivity. Have had absolutely no issues since installation!

Had this router for my oldest daughter who said it well great so when my youngest daughter needed a router we bought the same one. Easy to set up and works great!
