What has severely hurt the score the the UI and Set up process. Firstly it wants you to use an app which is not only unnecessary but also a security risk, being able to access the routers configuration from any where is not a feature it a HAZARD. The second issue was after getting past the landing page (which should be the login page) about the app by clicking on the phone, the login box was improperly labeled as Velop and NOT Router or similar. As it turns out the app is required to finish the setup and turn the led from Purple to Blue, which will not be happening. Thirdly ability to change the routers password was not under security (where it belongs), but connectivity. SUMMARY: If you want a router with a sensible interface and setup this is not a good choice. But if you want to have to download an app and deal with all that that entails sure on a hardware level this is a good router so far.
