Mesh system works very well for our two story brick house. We installed one router downstairs and one router upstairs. This Linksys system replaced a Spectrum router that worked well downstairs but didn't work well upstairs or outside.

I upgraded from a 5 node Velop system to this because the old Velop provided really inconsistent wired and wireless speeds. Now I'm using the 2 node MX10 and even added two old Velop nodes (via MOCA backhaul) to improve coverage in a couple of remote locations. Everything is working great now and speeds are consistently maxed out everywhere in my house.

The setup was one of the simplest ever! I will be using mesh from now on.

Great product, great performance and great price ok ok

The feature set on the router is kind of lacking, and I absolutely cannot stand that it requires a smart phone to setup. There's no reason for that. But once it's set up the mesh is stable and it does what you can expect from most consumer devices. This router will not allow you to request an IPv6 prefix greater than /64 from your ISP, which should not be that extreme of a feature in 2021. It also defaults to an unsuitable configuration (blocks ICMP6 by default,) but that's able to be changed. This is the third router I ended up buying after returning two previous, and I've kept it for a month now so I guess it's fine.

Linksys has evolved to be a leader in mesh networks for a reason. While there are plenty of solutions out there at various price points, Linksys provides an app setup experience that is both accessible for the technologically adverse personas and accomplishes network quality and continuity worth being proud of.

Made my speeds faster in my room it double my speeds

Only complaint is that it will sometimes drop nodes, requiring you to recycle all nodes in the chain to get them back in sync. If A talks to B and C talks to B, then B gets dropped. C will connect to A. Once you reboot B, you will need to reboot C to connect to C (versus A). Doesn’t happen a lot but often enough.

This was not the cheapest choice but I'm very happy with it. I previously had the Velop tri-band 3piece set. It had issues that required me to reboot the system rather often. This set on the otherhand has been a lot faster and I haven't had to touch it since the setup. It's been fast and reliable.

Provides strong signal and great coverage. My wife and I live in a 1940 home with plaster and lathe walls. This has created several "dead zones" that until recently were a source of drop outs. This has been resolved with the MX10 system. Tip: disable "device priority" since this can cause dropouts for some devices.

My kids were getting dropped on some of their virtual school meetings. I purchased this to replace the wi fi mesh network that I currently had. Huge difference! No more getting disconnected from the internet. This wi fi 6 mesh network is fast and reliable. It's pricey but worth the money.
