Only problem is I am now looking for another extender to use in the front of the house. Wish it would come in a package of three.

They are quite expensive l, but you get what you pay for and these have the latest WiFi standards.

We have a large home with a lot of “stuff” connected to the WiFi and internet. So I bit the bullet and paid the $600.00, on sale, for the MX5300s. I specifically asked if the MX5300s were comparable with my existing WHW03v1 Nodes and I was told absolutely!! First, I do not believe two MX5300 units will supply the advertised distances. The Linksys Techs told me the max separation between units is 40 to 45 feet linear distance. When the units were coupled with my existing Nodes my system failed!! Working with Linksys Techs the only solution was to load an older version of firmware in the WHW03 Nodes to get the system on line. And, Linksys has not updated the MX5300 firmware since releasing the units for sale. Linksys has to do a better job of supporting their “premier” Mesh WiFi units... Right now, I’m seriously thinking of returning them to Best Buy!
