I found I could buy cheaper mesh systems with better performance. In fact I found some other products that were not mesh that had the same coverage.

WORST Routers I Have Ever Owned

After setting up and installing a software update, the router tested at 1/5 of the speed of the router I intended to replace. It also logged me out of the app and would not allow me to log back in, showing that it was logging in then kicking me back to the log in screen. I would not recommend this to anyone.

The behavior of the Velop MX10600 is quite unusual after the initial installation. Once properly configured, your Velop System should be able to maximize the speed that your ISP provides while boosting the range of your Wi-Fi network. There might be other factors why your Velop nodes behave that way, and one of our Escalation Engineers will look closely into this setback and provide you a fix.

Best router tech I’ve owned
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In recent years I have had a Netgear nighthawk, Netgear Orbi, and Linksys AC6600 and so far this is best. The nighthawk couldn’t cover the 3000+ sq ft of my house. The Orbi kept dropping wireless after about a year; only a reboot would resolve it. The AC6600 really didn’t have any flaws, but this model simply is better. 4 GB ports on each node, and excellent coverage with only 2 nodes. I’m even running one node into another via Ethernet so I can hardwire my gaming PC (sorry I am old school, it probably would be fine wirelessly). I was also able to use my AC6600 nodes with the new node as the main, just to go overkill on my coverage. You can stand outside in the yard and still get full bars... The Linksys app is fantastic and setup is as if you’re using magic. I had everything up in under an hour. It’s also easy for ongoing admin and setting up parental controls. On that note, there is a known issue with Linksys routers and parental controls. You must disable IPv6 in order for them to work. This cannot be done via the app. My only other gripe is the almost comically large AC adapter for power. Other than those minor annoyances, this technology package is awesome.

The speed is average. The max I get is 85mb over Wi-Fi. This is not the 4 times faster promised in the details
