I had the Linksys Velop Tri band mesh in my home before these. I really like the Linksys system. When first stared in home WIFI it was the apple routers. Since Apple stop Making their routers that for years were the best. They recommend Linksys. The choice came down between Linksys and netgear orbi. Since Linksys gives a 3yr warranty and full 25/7 support easy choice. After 19 months I started have some Ethernet drops. Believe to be modem. Best Buy rep suggested to return system since everything on Greek squad warranty. So I did and choose to upgrade to WIFI 6. Since about 30 smart items in home now choose the MX10. I previously had 5 nodes in my home with the Tri band system. The two MX nodes covers my house better and farther. 2100 sq feet home two story but detached garage and like WIFI in back yard. I just both nodes on down stairs of house and get WIFI coverage upstairs, garage and 50 ft in back yard and still great WIFI speeds. They seem to handle the multi devices better and been a month now and loving these. Very easy set up and have call Ed support several times. At first support could have been better but now they have a team for MX’s units. Not sure if I could afford $699 price. But since I had 5 nodes before, it only cost me to replace new warranty. So worth the Best Buy geek squad purchase.

Wifi6 is new on the market so cost is high to catch the innovators and those people you want to be on the bleeding edge of technological change. This product is worth the higher cost. With the smartphone app it is easy to setup and configure. The connectivity speed and reliability is at the top. The coverage in my home is outstanding.

I couldn’t be happier with this system. I bought this not being sure how well it would work in my house. The coverage is va three best I’ve ever had. We have over 20+ devices hooked up and the signal is awesome. You just have to make sure your nodes are not too far apart and it works great! Highly recommend, expensive but worth it!

This mesh router destroys all others...

We recently upgraded our internet speed and our original google Wi-Fi 3 pack was starting to strain under the 50+ devices and increase in speed. We looked for an upgrade among Wi-Fi 6 routers as it provided the newest specs. Originally we purchased and QUICKLY returned a Netgear AX12. The AX12 despite having great specs only gave about 60mbps to the far ends of the house. Worse than the google Wi-Fi gen 1. We pay for 400mbps down! Changed to the MX10 mesh system and immediately got 400mbps throughout the entire house. This mesh router is incredible, yes the price is high but it’s well worth it. Do not waste your time with the nighthawk, it is not ready for prime time.

Was very good liked it so much l upgraded to the new one that came out. Each tower has 4 Ethernet ports. It comes with 2 towers you can add more if needed. It was easy to setup using the phone app. Overall this is a top of the line wifi 6 mesh router.

Great improvement from previous Velop System. Faster speed and love the additional Ethernet ports. Only downfall for now is HomeKit Support that should be coming soon for these via a firmware update.

I’ve had the system now for about three months. After initial installation, had a few hiccups but nothing serious. The online and in person support was outstanding. When I called for support I was answered within five minutes and had a real solution That fixed my issue. All wireless mesh systems have some starting pains, and this was no different. I had some intermittent drops of service on various devices, and reset the entire system once. Since then it’s been pretty much smooth sailing. Wi-Fi speed is very good, stability is much better than other mesh system I’ve had in the past ( Eero, Orbi). Now I’m regularly getting download speeds of 3 to 500 MB per second, on a 1 GB in line. The speed on the device really varies with the device, as they all have different modems. In addition the more people online sometimes the slower the speed, but not as noticeable as before. A slow download speed for the system is 80 to 100 MB wireless, Typically for an iPad, I see speeds in the 4 to 500 MB range. So far so good

Once I was able to set up the mesh nodes, house coverage for me increased significantly. Pros: * Good speed * Great coverage distance * Able to view router status through app without being connected to the wifi internet (can view remotely) * Linksys ecosystem is great; you are able to mix and match any mesh compatible nodes. I added a Wifi 5 mesh node for my back patio while still getting Wifi 6 every where else. Cons: * Setting up mesh nodes was buggy. Adding new nodes was a bit of a pain * Unable to get anywhere near my 1gbit internet speed, even though the speedtest test within the linksys app showed I am able to get >950mbps to the main node itself

Upgraded from Velop triple band to this wifi 6. What a huge huge improvement in signal and coverage. Zero dead spots or reduced signal areas in 3500 sq ft home. What I like best, used previous Velop nodes which are compatible, as Ethernet connections for computers.

This is a great system, although very expensive. It might be overkill for some. Network ports on each of the router nodes are great and what I needed, although I only needed them on one of the units (and they both have them). It was extremely easy to set up and if you use the exact same network name and password, you don't have to reconnect all your devices! (The Guest network required a longer/more sophisticated password than my previous one, so I had to change that network name.) I upgraded to this from a Linksys 1900 ACS which worked great, but I couldn't get much signal at the far end of my house, so I knew I needed another node of some type. I decided to spring for a unit that has the latest wi-fi technology (6) so it would be forward compatible and I would eventually be able to take advantage of the increased speed. Design looks nice also, they just need to drop the price!

Great product. Easy to setup. I was looking for a system that would blanket my home with reliable wifi and this delivers. Speed test on my old amplify system was around 350 MB. With this system it is at 967 MB. Finally using my 1gb pipe at home.

Do what it supposed to do. Speeds not as high as my service though. Have 1GB service, but getting wifi speeds in the 600-700MB range. Did improve signal strength in upstairs areas.

Much faster than old Linksys WiFi router technology, but wired speeds are the fastest pending the device, the only problem is the price tag to future proof yourself.. :-)

I made the purchase due to our building a new room in the lower level of our house where I will be moving my office to. The plan is to have the main router down there and connect place the second unit upstairs in our main living area via an Ethernet cable. Since the new room isn't built yet, both units are in separate rooms in the upper level which is only 1600 sf. All I can report is that they were pretty easy to set up and have been working fine (have had about a month now). The real test will be when the two units are connected together on separate floors but I suspect that they should work fine. I stream music via Sonos and video via a smart tv and a smart tv with firestick.

An absolute powerhouse of a mesh network. When you need the best speed and range for your house and all your devices, this is it. Even though some devices will not take full advantage of WiFi6, you will be future proofing your house.

I replaced my old Linksys Max-Stream AC2600 Dual Band Router with the Linksys MX10 Velop Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6 system, and I am very pleased with the increased performance. I have Comcast 600gbps internet service, I was getting around 730gbps wired Ethernet download, and around 270gbps with 802.11ac wireless. I got a new Dell laptop for fathers day which can utilize the new 802.11ax protocol. I updated all the Ethernet CAT 6 cables with new Ethernet CAT 7, and remeasured my performance. With the same Comcast 600gbps service, I am getting around the same wired Ethernet performance of 708gbps, but the wireless download increase to 716gbps. I am actually getting faster performance with wireless vs wired Ethernet. That is 37% of wired vs 101% wired.

Replaced my 10 old Apple routers with these, the coverage and speed improvement is amazing. Set up is easy with app. When I move around the house or outside with my iPhone it automatically switches to the strongest node without any interruption. Like switching cell towers. If I go far enough from the house outside it switches from 5Ghz to 2,4Ghz automatically. I can stream video with no pauses moving around. Inside I get wi-fi download speeds over 750mbs. Over 200ft away from the house on 2.4Ghz I get 130mbs. The app shows all devices, which node and band they are using. I am very pleased overall. It is a bit pricy but quality is very good. I have been using the 2 pack for about 5 weeks.
