Pros:
- Impressive specs.
- Good range coverage.
- Handle 50+ devices without issue (no disconnect nor lagging in Zoom, Team)
Cons:
- No router configs backup. If you have to reset router, you have to re-enter your customized router configs.
- Can't select 2.4 or 5.0 Ghz channels.
- App is slow to come up. Web UI is faster.
- Not fully Wifi 6 (AX). If my Windows 10 HP laptop connects to router on channel 40 and 44, Window Wifi prop. shows AX protocol. If it connects to router on any other channel, Windows Wifi prop. shows AC protocol. Same HP laptop when connects to ASUS XT8, Windows Wifi prop. always shows AX protocol. This by far is the most disappointed.

My existing AC1900 Router was struggling to handle multiple device connections, and I constantly had to reset it to get everything to work. I was eyeing this Linksys MX10 Velop AX Whole Home Wi-Fi 6 System for a while, but it is super pricey, so kept pushing of the purchase. Then we had a lightning strike at our apartment that fried the AC1900 Router! Literally a sign from above! I went ahead and purchased the Linksys MX10 Velop AX. I placed the primary node in my office, and the additional node at the living room home theater setup. “The Linksys Velop MX10 system can handle as many as 50 devices per node, so laptops, televisions, smart-home systems, and more can all operate simultaneously with ease.” I have exactly 50 devices connected to the system, and it works flawlessly! I have a Wi-Fi HD baby monitor that is on 24/7, and the system can handle that along with all the other devices without breaking a sweat. I also love that the additional node is an Access Point, with fully functional LAN ports. So, my TV, Home Theater, PlayStation and Apple TV have a wired LAN connection to the system instead of individual Wi-Fi connections, greatly improving streaming quality while reducing network congestion due to these bandwidth hog devices. What an upgrade! Worth every penny!

Honestly, this set is just what the doctor ordered for our house. Always had issues with signal strength in our bonus room over the garage. Installed the MX10 and issue is totally resolved. Strong signal everywhere in the house and our 1gb fiber service is cooking at 989mbps... Spend the money, you won't be sorry!

ive set up multiple networks and routers in my life, so setting this one up initially was a breeze; when I went to update the firmware, manually, only one of the 2 units updated; the other one didn't..
I've called 5 times in the last 2 days, and still no one has actually talked to me about this; the tech support here is a joke, no one speaks fluent English, and getting an answer to a simple question is a royal pain..
Its shameful that such a good company has decided to go cheap on their support, and, be warned, if you aren't an experienced networking person, and have any questions or issues with this product, you were surely be frustrated.
I'll NEVER buy another Linksys Product again, if this is how their support process has degenerated into...shame on Linksys...

This system is super easy to use and set up. Adding more nodes to the network is seamless. Poor signal coverage areas are easily fixed with a simple addition of more nodes. The mesh networking will improve your signal throughout your home and outside as well.

Great mesh system, love how both nodes are interchangeable, wifi 6 is significantly faster on my note 10+, range is perfect for my 3000sqft home and reaches out in both the front and back yard without a hiccup. Only wish I could add VPN profiles on the router itself. Does also have one annoying blue power light I wish I could turn off. Otherwise, great system!

This is a good unit I would not say great. My unit drops connectivity every now and again for a minute or two. Rebooted about 4 times already and haven’t seen any firmware updates. Apart from the issues I’ve experience this AX5300 mesh WiFi system is ok.

Decided on the mx10 Linksys after my Apple router died. Super easy to setup. Plugged it in and it logged onto my home network almost immediately. Allowed me to keep my network and password no problem. Best option for Mac and Apple TV and SONOS. No beffering since I installed it. There are lots of mesh WiFi systems out there I vote for this one.

I bought this to strengthen my work at home and school at home situation. With 3 people constantly on the internet and a need for video conferencing, we needed a good connection. Ever since purchasing this router, none of us had the connection drop at all. This is with 2 people working and the kids gaming a lot. Love this router.

I am using this with the MX10. Great product and glad it could be added as node to continue my mesh network. Love the WiFi 6 and increased speed. Using to replace my Apple network. It is an easy setup but not as easy interface as Apple. It was an expensive addition. Should add an MX15 for 3 towers at a discounted price.
