You can get faster, but you pay more. It's pretty easy to set up via the set up wizard and I can't imagine anyone really having much difficulty using this. It's as close to plug and play as it gets.

Great router for the average computer user

I use it for surfing the net, email, streaming video, pictures, etc and haven't had any issues. If you want a slighly faster connection, spend the money and get an upgraded version of this but it should a normal households use without any issues.

Good basic router

Does a consistent job but lacks some strength in some areas of the house. My cell phone fades sometimes while using smart phone features. It has totally lost a signal on occasion. Works fine when I move closer to the area where the router is.

Great Upgrade

The old Wireless G router simply couldn't handle the load or the distance to the most remote part of the house. After speaking to a Best Buy Sales Staff member, and with their advice, I purchased a new Wireless N Router, and to date it appears to have eliminated the problems.

The Good The affordable Linksys E1200 Wireless-N Router is compact, good-looking, and easy to use. The Bad The Linksys E1200 has slow throughput and short range, and lacks most commonly available advanced features such as dual-band, Gigabit Ethernet, and USB ports. The Bottom Line Underpowered but supereasy to use and affordable, the Linksys E1200 makes a good entry-level Wireless-N router for home users.
