Good entry level router

I'm having some issues getting a decent signal to my TV set a few rooms away. Other than that, it's been a stable router that pretty much suits my needs.

Linksys is a good brand, as my prior one was an old 32, and this is a 64. (Only had to buy a new one because I had to get a new laptop and couldn't find the download CD. It was an old model anyway, but it still worked well, so that's why I trust Linksys.)

Original SW it hangs. DD-WRT works great in it!

This one would hang after a day or so in operation, even with latest firmware. Maybe it is because there are a lot of other WiFi routers around my house, but I think that is very common. I was thinking of returning it, but decided to try some Open Source firmware. I flashed it with DD-WRT and it has been working great. The open source firmware has lots of features and diagnostics/status, that helps. I'd recommend this router to anyone that is willing to flash it with DD-WRT, as it is inexpensive and the hardware works fine.
