it installed easy just like most routers do. coverage area is short. constantly reboots. this is the second unit so i know its not just a dud. When it works, i works ok but can drop out at any time. the ports in the back are weak so dont subject it to any stress, and they are plastic and loosing fitting, cheaply made ports. If you had to choose this or not have a router, then yes pick this. if you can afford a more expensive router, this is not for you. Also not good if you have critical network dependent applications.

Quick and easy setup, and simple to manage with the Cisco Connect Desktop Software or the Cisco Connect Express iPhone App. Reliable performance with excellent coverage, signal strength, speed, and security. The packaging states this router is rated for up to three devices, but mine effectively handles two Windows 7 laptops, an iPhone, and an iPad mini all at once - with very good data transfer speed on my network. I've only used the dedicated guest network feature a few times, but it is a nice touch. Occasionally needs to be reset, but takes no longer than 30 seconds to do so. I've been using this router for approximately six months without issue. For the price, it's an excellent value.

I was told at the store it would work with my mac, I had to return it since I could not get it to work. It was probably my fault but I needed something easier to install.

Luckily the software that comes with it repairs the connection with one click (so far anyway). But if my daughter wants to connect while I'm out of the house, she can't do it.
