My existing router went bad so I had to pick up a new one. I went to Best Buy and picked up the cheaper version but in asking the tech he recommended this one. He said it had more channels and was better for my larger house. I am glad I got this version it is much better than my older model.

Setting up a small office or have multiple devices in your home? This router does great traffic management so you can have a dozen or so devices and maintain good speed all at the same time. It's fast and reliable. Performance from basement to 2nd Floor was weak so I removed a star.

I'm not sure exactly what this does for me, but was told by my son, that my old one was outdated and I needed a new one.

We had a linksys-g, and moved our computers to a room separate from the router. The change with the new modem was very noticeable, we consistently get 4-5 bars signal, even when all devices are on (2 smartphones, xbox, tablet, 2 laptops, desktop computer) LOL even with a large family in a small home, this router does what you pay for. :)

Basic router reception is good for the price. Have had this brand before but they seem to only last for about 4 years

Really happy with my purchase of this item. Although I wish it could accommodate more users.

It works well for a small apartment but it doesn't work well with my FaceTime on my phone.

I am NOT a compter geek, but this new router is excellent. The Geek squad walked me through the process to install it, as my new computer does not have a CD drive (CD for install came with it), so I needed some help. I am really happy with the speed and glad I purchased it with my new computer.

I was in need in a new router and looking around, this one seemed to have pretty good reviews. And so far I agree. Set up was easy and the installation disk worked well. I was able to get my new network up and running about half an hour. And its been working great ever since.

We bought this to replace our not so old wireless router that failed to function when we moved. This Linksys was a great price and was exactly what we needed. My husband had it installed and set up in no time. It works great, we live in a 2 story home and have no problems using our laptops and smart tv's in any room of the house.

Needed a router that gave me more control over my network settings. To many now use generic wizards for every feature your typical home needs. This unfortunately does not work for what i needed This router gave me the control i needed. Simple and does the job

I checked with API to friends and they both recommended this item for me it has worked and performed very well

Connecting the unit was easy, but that was all that was easy. I can't get the guest feature to come up or work and I can't get it to connect to my Smart TV. It's probably me and not the unit, but it's frustrating not to be able to use all of the capabilities that I want to use on it.

Pretty Good for the price, but probably get better range with a more expensive router.

I had an older router that was too slow and outdated. It was causing me to lose productivity time on my household chores and bill paying that I do on line.With this new router from Cisco,I am able to do what I want when I want to at utmost speed as per my internet service allows.
