This router is decent. It has more signal strength than my old linksys.

I have always preferred the Linksys/Cisco network gear and this Router/ Switch holds up the tradition.

My previous router stopped working, I'm guessing due to life of the product expiring. This new one took me a while to setup and I had to call customer support for help, but after setup it worths great and does the job for my small home. There are about 2-4 devices using wifi in my home at any given time.

I PURCHASED THE UNIT FROM BEST BUY AND WAS EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE PRODUCT.

Easy setup and installation. I have a MAC and was concerned if I would have a problem, but no problem at all.

Put this in to work behind an existing router, basically setting it up so that it would have everyting forwarded. It works so much better than the device it's behind (2wire AT&T unit). The problem is it took me about 3 tries to get it configured right, and while it likely was me that was not understanding things, I'll still take it out on the router as being difficult to configure. Now that it's in, I've had no problems with it and some stuff, like my smart TV work great now, where before it would only work occasionally. In fact, I was trying to upgrade my firmware on my Samsung TV and could not do it until I put this router in behind the 2wire to offload all the wireless traffic. It also is much better for my NAS, since this has a gigabit switch and the 2wire only 100Mb switch. Things just work great!

Not a bad piece but it has it's limitations. The range/signal isn't any better than my old wrt54g. If I don't run a signal booster this will barely connect to my pc in the den. Same distance as my previous router had to deal with but even though this is 300mbps, it runs between 8-18 if I don't have the booster on in between them. Same speed/range as my 54 mpbs wrt54g. That was disappointing. I puirchased it in hope of greater range and losing the booster. That aside, the only other grip I have is that it runs very warm-some would say hot, and is much more sensitive to power fluctuations that my wrt54g. We get a lot of them in Florida and I almost never had to reset the older on I keep referencing, but this one is touchy and I've had to reset this one more in a few weeks than I did the old one in years. That said, I'm not bashing the product - I had just hoped for more. What it does, it does fairly well within the limitations I listed. I just expected more spending nearly twice as much - 5-6 years after my first wireless gateway.

Our router was not working and we needed another, so after research picked this one up. Works like a charm!

This router has been a solid replacement for the Cisco router that needed to be retired. Throughput has been good, as is the signal range/strength. The set-up was easy, but lacks some options for advanced users.

I have always had great luck with Linksys Routers and they are my go to. I would recommend this to anyone.

This was the easiest set up I've experienced with a router. The toughest part was just the typing of the long security string of characters I use in our home network. Everything else about the set up was a snap. I highly recommend this router.

Linksys EA3500, easy to conf. good Wi-Fi signal a bit slow on the conf. side on the router.
