We purchased a new wireless laptop and tablet and all in one printer scanner and needed a wireless wi fi router with enough ports for our new components and storage too. This product fit the bill.

I have had many problems with my internet and other devices since buying this router....I am thinking it HAS to be the router, as it is the only thing that has changed.

Easy to hook up and start using wifi. Haven't had any issues with it and have never lost signal or low speeds. If you want a good wireless router that won't let you down this is the one for you.

Once set up was done which took several days to get figured out, calls to tech support, and finally face to face tech support from the cable company use of the modem has not been a problem at all.

Claiming it is easy to install, I was on the phone with their "help" for over an hour, and had to go all the way down to the C prompt and "ping" to see if the device was working. We finally got it squared away, but it was a nightmare initially. Then, my older laptop, with Windows Vista (I know, I know) could not link up with the router. I have to log in as a "guest" in my own home (the irony!). So, it's working. We bought because we needed greater range (in and out of the house) as well as having more wireless equipment.

Works great as long as an USB hard drive is not connected to the USB port. Connecting a 3TB WD USB Hard Drive to router's USB port disconnected the router from my cable modem.

Love the router; won't work on IE11 though. Interface is ok; don't necessarily like the layout but don't deal with it enough to worry.

We use this router for home wi-fi. Regular connections include a macbook, a TiVo, a TiVo-mini, and a couple of smart phones. The signal provided is sufficient for us.

The router improved my response time for several wifi devices. The change was very noticeable and saved me dollars since I did not have to update my cable broadband speed.

When I had to replace an old router, we relied on the Best Buy adviser advice and he was spot on. This device handles all of our devices without bogging down. Smooth, quick operation.

Regardless of what we did, we could not get this router to connect for WIFI. We followed the directions and also connected with Linksys Customer Service but to no avail! Spent hours trying to get it to work. Ended up exchanging it for a Netgear router that connected in less than 10 minutes!!! Either a problem with that particular router or a problem connecting to Time Warner.

Bought this to replace an aging Linksys router with integrated wireless AP. Performance improvement expected between WLAN and LAN clients. No performance improvement found. Range improvement expected as well and as disappointed, range is actually worse. This being said, it does work and the UI is reasonable and the physical packaging is nice. I'm sure I could get better range if I disabled the 802.11ac and 802.11n features but then that would sort of kill the idea that it helps with performance.

Only took about five minutes to replace it's fried predecessor. Guest account is defaulted to on position so remember to turn off.

the device has gotten better with time since Cisco has taken over. has gotten a little complicated to set up with the new interface but relatively simple to figure out and set up.

Great router for small home application. Extended coverage area way beyond (front and rear porch) our former 6 year old Verizon router. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

My previous router broke, bought this one, but will take it back. Not doing what we need in a quad level house.

Needed a router quickly with an ease of hook up. Just purchased, plugged in and turned on the computer. Have 3 computers and all get great reception. This works well for us.

I HAD TO REPLACE MY ROUTER AND WAS RECOMMENDED BY A BEST BUY EMPLOYEE TO PURCHASE THIS ONE. IT HAS PERFORMED EXCELLENTLY, AND I LOOK FORWARD TO HAVING IT LAST FOR A LONG TIME.

We had a Linksys router before, so we went with the same brand again. The price was good, and it works just fine, but my husband had a hard time hooking it up.

Product works great minus it seems to be a little slower than our old one we replaced. Have not used all the features but looking forward to in the future.
