It worked great for the first week. By the second week it seemed to connect at a much slower speed, then by the end of that week it wouldn't connect at all. I tried everything to get it to connect, even uninstalling all the software and re-installing it. Nothing worked so back to the store it went. I then pick up an ASUS which has been working great. It's even performing at a much higher speed. So as far as I'm concerned buy the Linksys with extreme caution.

Allow us to take this chance to assist you in setting up your router to perform on its full potential. To maximize its range, it is recommended to place the router on a high location. It will also help if you set a specific or fix channel for your wireless network. Since most devices are connecting to the 2.4 GHz network, we suggest you set the channel to either 1, 6, or 11.

Cox Cable came out to check out my problem with the speed. Turns out the brand new unit was defective. We promptly returned it and purchased a different brand and have no speed issues with the other brand. (Now getting 50+mps downloads)
