I returned the router and bought the netgear router. It worked great right out of the box no problems it is in the same location

Doesn't connect to my TV

I spent 8 hours calling between Vizio customer support, Linksys customer support and my internet provider, with each one blaming the other and nobody getting the problem fixed. The TV is still not connecting to the router and I doubt it ever will.

Router was broadcasting speeds of LESS THAN 1 MB per second (my Xfinity service is 25+ mb/s), and it dropped connections over a dozen times in less than 24 hours. Immediately returned for a refund.

Thank you for taking the time in sharing this review. Does the connection drop off on both wired and wireless? You can adjust the router’s wireless channel to avoid possible interference in your network. Use the Wi-Fi analyzer app. It helps you to find a less crowded channel for your wireless router.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very disappointed with this product. I yet have to be able to authenticate wirelessly with 802.1x. In order to connect wirelessly, I first have to connect using a LAN connection. Also, I was used to the old Linksys way of applying access restrictions (grouping devices together and applying policies to it)--now you have to apply the parental control on a device-per-device basis, which is a real pain, and not to mention that you're limited to 14 devices max. Furthermore, whenever I access the router via the LAN connection to make a change of parental control policies, I lose access as it appears to reset the unit. Don't waste your money on this!
