This is a great setup for internet wi-fi for large areas. Easy setup and works great. Now even wi-fi and strong signal.

We had been struggling with poor wifi connection in all rooms for months because our home is over 3500 sq feet. I finally spoke with a young woman who was very knowledgeable about new networking options and based on my circumstances, she recommended the Lynksys Velop Mesh system---the best investment I've made recently. The setup was easy and my wifi connection is fantastic throughout my entire home. We've only had the system for a few days, but so far so good!

the difference between my old router and my new one is that the old router had more plug-in ports and the new one only has one in an out. I have other devices that plugged in the old router and now I have to use 2 of the dual-band mesh system. Plus I had to move it away from each other.

Finally a Wi-Fi that covers my entire house. I have nearly 6000 square feet and this gives me Wi-Fi every where.

Very easy to setup, and was able to get WiFi extended to my garage apartment. Working great!

Setting this up in a 2 story house and when the 1st node was set in the back corner of the 2nd floor where the ISP connection is I was unable to configure the 2nd node on the 1st floor. I had to get a long Ethernet cable so it was positioned near an opening at the top of the stairs and even then I had issues with the 2nd node connecting. I finally moved the 2nd node within eye site of the 1st node and a connection was made. I still need to move the 2nd node further away to see how it acts, but I didn't think I would have problems getting it connected in the 1st place due to the coverage that the box advertises. My daughter set one of these up in a 1 story house and had no problems. She's not IT savvy and I've been in the IT industry for over 15 years.

I switched from a Netgrear NightHawk ac router to use the Velop system in my 2 story 2300 sq foot house that includes a small office that is detached and 10 foot away from the house. I have 8 Amcrest Wifi cameras, 2 iPhone,1 laptop,2 smart tv's and a Ipod running off of my home wifi system. I bought the Velop system because the Best Buy representative said it would give me a better signal for the wifi cameras since my old router was upstairs and the cameras are outside. Here is my layout, I node is plug into the modem upstairs while node 2 is setup in another room down the hall on the same floor as the 1 node(main router). The house is brick but the upstairs is wood for an exterior. I have node 3 right inside my office which is 10 ft away from the house. My main issue is my wifi cameras will sometimes connect to the node 3 with a great signal and other times switch to node 1 or 2 with a weak signal. Talking with the camera company that is not something we can control with the camera software. The cameras are only to connect to whatever wifi network is available. The Velop system controls which node is broadcasting the network signal at which time. I included a screenshot of the cameras in question and as you can see they are connected to Node 2 when Node 3 has a stronger signal and is closer to the cameras as well. When I called Linksys tech support, they came up with a solution to change the wifi name to something entirely different for node 3 then have a the 3 cameras in question connect to the newly named wifi name on node three. This worked for about a day but somewhere along the lines the system overwrote the node 3 settings and deleted the newly created wifi. I need a working solution for my issue or I will be forced to take this system back to Best Buy for a refund. (I don't know to do this but I am down to one last shot) This has to be fixed. Any help you can provide? I will add that I had no issues when setting up the nodes and they all appear to be online it just not connecting my devices to the closet node Open and ongoing case number 10476045 (Spent over 6 hours on the phone with Tech support and no resolution so far) This entire process is extremely frustrating.

The Geek Squad recommended this product and installed it for us. When we switched to a mobile hotspot router, the technical support at Linksys resolved all of my installation issues and it provides very fast service (faster download speed than the service is supposed to provide) throughout our large home - even though we have a weak signal!

Linksys mesh system really works well for the whole house

This Linksys-Velop WIFI extender increased my WIFI range through many walls and obstacles. Love it!

I bought these ac1300 nodes to increase my WiFi through my home. They worked great but after 6 months one quit working. I got hold of linksy customer service and they did replace it but I had to pay for the return postage which was $14 bucks.

I live in a community where as soon as you drive into the neighborhood you drop calls. The service is just as bad in our home so we use WiFi calling . We still dropped calls, one of my friends recommended this mesh system to help boost the WiFi throughout our home. We purchased the system and my friend helped the Velop talk to the router and bam! No more slow streaming and dropped calls. We love this Velop mesh system!

I was going to buy a competing brand but the BB staff walked me thru the advantages of this system. Only set up issue is that if you don't have wireless access or shut off your old router to set up the system its hard to use your cell phone to set up the new one.

The setup is quick and easy. We didn't have any issues and have great coverage in our home.

The velop system works very well by eliminating range issues and connectivity issues, but we use it in bridge mode with centurylink fiber and its constantly losing internet connectivity. Not sure why.

Works extremely well from day one. I've returned other products. Not returning this one.
