Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the Velop AC1300 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System's ease of use, expanded Wi-Fi coverage, and strong signal. Many appreciate the improved range and performance compared to single routers, finding setup straightforward. A common concern, however, is the relatively high cost.

Went from an old Apple Airport to a 3 node system. All devices run smoother and less buffering. Strong WiFi throughout the whole house.

We recently bought a big house over 3500sqft and it’s two levels well some people that had new phones had good reception throughout the house others with only slightly older devices had trouble getting signal. I got an extender that I thought would help but didn’t really do much. Didn’t want to spend the money on a mesh system but we needed one large whole home network. The Velop was super easy to install and implement around the house. I had the new mesh system up and running all over the house in under 30mins.

Good because they work and were easy to setup. I have not really been able to tell if it's improved the speed. But at the least it has shifted some of the WIFI load to this network, since we still use our modem's wifi network. So overall our WIFI needs have been met, and less complaints from family.

The best purchase I've made in a long while! Easy to set up the first pod and after that the others connect even easier! Smartphone app is a bonus! Rural area with iffy internet but it worked on our Infinite internet router (fire wire internet provider) like a champ! Makes the connection stronger no doubt! Simply set up a connection acct to the pods and connect to those pods instead of the router. AWESOMENESS!

Have you upgraded to spectrum Internet lately? The speed on your wired devices is great, however the single Wi-Fi modem they provide is highly in adequate for today’s larger households. I installed this for a local family that had recently upgraded, They had great throughput close to the router, but the TVs in the bedrooms were suffering greatly. After installing the Linksys Velop system, and placing the nodes appropriately, they had over 100 Mb throughput throughout the house.

Good range and versatility but have had some connection issues and some slowed speed at times. I did resolve this by switching it to bridge mode which also turns off a lot of minor features like device prioritization and parental controls. Since doing this the devices have worked great.

I purchased the Linksys - Velop Dual-Band Mesh Wi fi system because I was getting internet interruptions in my home. My home is over 4000sq ft. I was looking for something that would give me the coverage that I needed without internet interruptions. I went and did my research on this system and decided to purchase them. The price was very good and the color was excellent for my decor. The system was easy to install and set up in minutes I no longer have the drop out and I am truly happy

This router is has great range in an old concrete building and with the third unit, extends to the second floor rooms. The system gave us fits with the initial set up and we spent an hour on the phone with tech support to get it to accept all devices we wanted to have on WIFI. Tech support was helpful and we have ironed out the kinks. After using wonderful Airport Extreme units and loving them, this is a good alternative with better support for higher speed networks. Thanks, Best Buy!

We previously were using a good router – good reviews, good name, and so forth. But because of the layout of our house there was a significant drop in coverage (lost 80% of the signal) by the time the signal got to the back bedroom, where I enjoyed surfing before going to bed or waking up in the morning. Finally broke down and bought this system. Lo and behold, problem solved. It was an easy set up, but placement of the nodes is important - including height off the floor. Definitely would recommend.

Living in the country I do not have high speed internet. The broadband internet service I have is connected to my office a building separate from my house. Therefore, I have not been able to connect to the internet for my Directv service even with a router. The Geek Squad technician suggested the Wi-Fi Mesh, works great!!

Very simple to set up and and use. No more dead spots and is a very small, non-intrusive size. Unrelated, but ensure any wall mounts you get specify they are compatible with the dual-channel version. Ones for the tri-channel do not work, base is different even though the upper shell is similar.
