I love the Velop system. I live in a 2.5 story house and have one node and one extender which works great for the first two stories but I definitely need another node or extender for the lower level, WiFi signal is full but for mobile gaming I’ll need a little bit more for no skips during game play. For regular use, you probably don’t need more. We have tv’s, gaming and music streaming at the same time and can shut off any WiFi device at any moment from the app in parental controls which is great!

Easy to set up. Works as advertised. One node lost connection after 1 day, but a simple reboot fixed the issue. No problems since then, been 4 weeks now.

After comparing a number of leading mesh wifi systems, I decided on this Linksys Velop because it has more configurable options I really wanted. Namely the ability to separately control the 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz networks. Minus one star for the parental control not blocking URL for specific device I set.

Very easy to setup. Hardest thing to do is switch all existing devices over to the new Wi-Fi. You will regret nothing!!!

Easy full high speed internet for a huge home with multiple levels.

Continously drops or has inconsistent speeds. All three routers show full connection so i know that its not that they are too fat apart. After working with my ISP they determined there was an issue with the routers. After resetting and doing an whole new setup, I had stable excellent performance for about 3 months, repeated the reset process and had the same luck for another 3 months but it just started failing again. The performance when working is excellent but having to reset and setup a new network every 3 months is exhausting. I should have returned it when i had the chance and now im 8 months in and stuck with it.

The BestBuy Team Member that helped me was very knowledgeable and discussed many options. this one fit us the best and it works great. Easy setup!
