Works great. Much better than the spectrum routers

This is a great product. Easy to install. My download speeds on my mobile devices prior to using this product was 10 to 30 mbps. After setting this up, my speeds are now 200 to 250 mbps. My security cameras didn't work initially, until I made my SSID the same the security cameras were using and I rebooted my security system.

Installation was simple. App instructions were easy to follow.

Internet has never been better. I only wish I knew about these 10 years ago

I bought into this concept in an attempt to maximize the coverage in and around my house. Previously had a Nighthawk router that was fine until it took a hit from a lightning strike that came through the cable that apparently did not affect my cable modem. These units were easy enough to install but have noticed some issues with devices that were previously on the router that never had a problem in the past. I have 5 of these units and unplugged one in a blind attempt to try see if there were issues with interference between the units. This has worked so far, but have only tried this for a few days. Have been tempted to pull the plug and go back to a standard router setup.

This was my first web system. Was kinda against it at the start but after getting it up and running it can handle a significant amount of devices and data all at once. Hands down the best system I have ever purchased. Able to add additional towers if needed. I bought the basic three for a 2000sq ft house. It is a bit tricky to get it going but once up it won’t come down.

Excellent product, easy to use value for your money.

I purchased this system today and the initial setup was a breeze. However, a few hours after getting it set up I had to unplug my modem and, after coming back online, the main Velop hub didn't automatically reconnect to the network. I had to reconnect the unit manually by restarting it and doing the reconnection process in the app. This was weird and annoying but not a huge deal. A few hours after that, both child nodes spontaneously disconnected and refused to reconnect. I restarted these nodes individually and ran through the reconnection process in the app yet again, but nothing this time. I then rebooted the entire Velop network and, after coming back up, one of the two child nodes reconnected but the other didn't. I removed this node from the network and went back through the process of re-adding it from scratch but this failed. I gave up at this point. It's unacceptable for reconnections to not be automatic and seamless and that the process of forcibly reconnecting any device takes upwards of a minute only to fail for no apparent reason. This is going back to the store tomorrow.

Extremely easy to set up. Totally worth getting if you have WiFi issues

I bought it for longer range on my wifi and it worked.

I purchased these because I cannot get WiFi in certain areas of my house. I could not be more pleased with my decision. My signal stays the same anywhere I go on my house now. I also like the feature that allows me to turn off WiFi to devices I chose. Now when my kids have things to do around the house or get punished I can turn the WiFi off to their game systems.

We used ir as a 3rd node for our three story house.

So far I have had no issues with this product. The only thing is I live in the country and have terrible internet. This system has worked the best for me thus far. It was a good purchase for me.

Once I connected each of the nodes to Ethernet the wireless connection was much better for a 3,000 square foot home. Without the Ethernet I was having spotty connections to wireless.
