I was very unimpressed by the performance. One of my nodes could never handoff a device and would never communicate with the hub. I would have full signal strength, an IP and a default gateway route but no internet access. It got so bad I had to stand by the main node just to get 50+ mpbs while the node that was ~50ft away was getting .03 Would not purchase again.

It is possible that the Velop Nodes are not running on the latest firmware as this is not its expected performance. Utilizing the channel finder might also help. The app is garbage and does not work well on Android. It would refuse to detect and log into the device despite setup being completed. I had to factory reset these units multiple times during the setup process. That being said, since set up they have not had any issues at all and wireless coverage is great.

I thought set-up was simple but i had a hard time hooking up the Roku TV. Finally, when all systems went "blue" I thought all was well, but then in the middle of a movie all systems went "red". Customer Service is TERRIBLE! No one was available to help me either by chat or phone. Pitiful. I think I figured it out on my own. We'll see... I Will NOT buy a Linksys product ever again. Customer Service is INVALUABLE. Where is it Linksys?

If you have a split level home it' really doesn't work well. We were told we'll need additional extenters to further the distance for a better connection. All in all, it may work better for a single level home. I think it's just not strong enough if you have a weaker link in your area. Purchasing additional extenters did the trick but with additional cost. I would start off with the strongest router possible so additional extenters won't be necessary.

The Linksys WHW0103 Velop system knows how to select the clearest channel for your devices and deliver strong WiFi throughout your home. Installed and have had no issues covering almost 1800 sq ft ranch home. Thank you Best Buy for the great worker that assisted us. Definitely recommend!!

I had almost 0 mps in my living room and kitchen and only 25 in the bedrooms. This product has boosted my wifi distribution to 200 mps throughout the house.

Our house is just under 4000 sq ft so this was a great, economical solution at the time. Set up was fairly easy but on a 400 Mb connection, I have to reset at least one of the nodes evey 2 or 3 days, which isn't such a big deal but it's certainly not working "transparently". The only other complaint is that the "mesh" is reliable about 80% of the time moving through the house.

Put one in master, one in living room and the other in the furthest room of our home. Like that each node has 2 Ethernet ports.
