This mesh setup might work for the average person, but it's not for me. From my experience with the system, it seems that instead of a higher power single wifi router, you get multiple lower power nodes to spread out and try to increase coverage. I have a 3 level house and placed nodes on each floor, but I experienced less range than my original setup with a single wireless router on the third floor along with an additional access point on the first floor. Also, I noticed that I was only getting about 1/2 to 2/3 of the speed of my internet connection and also increased ping times even though each and every node was hardwired. I did test connecting my computer via ethernet directly to the modem to find the full speed of my internet connection. The system also has limitations with more advanced features that are standard on other routers. For example you cannot change the class of ther internal ip address range. You're stuck with class C 192.x.x.x. I ended up returning it and went back to my original setup with one wifi router plus an additional access point.

I am giving this an average rating because it did not work for me, the the person who did the home survey said I needed the, however it conflicted with my Xfinity modem, because there was 2 security systems running and two firewalls there was always IP address loss. My furthest camera is only 30' from the modem so it works fine. I'm sure the Velop would work just not for me.

Still having issues with wifi in one room, but will be connecting it with ethernet to gaming system to see if that helps.

I 100% recommend these. I was having trouble with the terrible router from Spectrum and decided to get a new one. This product has given me maximum wifi coverage throughout my home, and I never lose signal.

i have not set it up yet but i did take it out the box an the device is very light but let see how it handle

it's working good no complaint, my only negative is my home is blocking it from working fully. Otherwise a good product.

like design and flexibility. setup not intuitive - router vs node. the Linksys app is nice.

great for simple Internet exstension. goes through quite a bit of layers with full conectivity.

I'm very satisfied with my Linksys router. The salesman was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I wanted a router that would enable me to use the internet on 3 levels of my home, and I bought it.

Great Signal in every part of my home. Excellent Parental Control Options! Some devices has problems changing from node to node.

Bought this to help our crappy internet through our service provider because theirs sucked! After getting this all I can say is WOW and we don't even have the third one set up yet and still have great coverage for our big home!

I bought this to eliminate gaps my regular router couldn’t solve for. It works great and is easy to install. If you do online gaming make sure you switch it to bridge mode and it will work perfect.

Great product but not set-up friendly. Am 71 female, followed directions but ended up call Velop and on phone with a level one tech, then a level two tech for about 4 hours. They finally got it set up and it works just fine now.

Still have moments of lagging once in a while but it has definitely helped me to have better home Wi-Fi.

The velop system worked great for one year. Now I have issues with it every few days. I’ve called Linksys 9 times in the past 2 months for the same issue and they still won’t replace the unit. Easy to setup, I was very happy with it before I started having issues.

Had our son set up as we are seniors and wouldn’t have a clue how to do it. We were recommended to purchase these by an associate, however I don’t believe we needed such an expensive system. As a matter of fact, we could have gotten the same results from a less expensive system! Is it working????? Don’t see any difference. Buy something less expensive, will probably work better.

We live in a somewhat remote area and don’t always get the best service. This system gives us great connections all throughout the house now. They are small and can’t sit on a windowsill or anyplace small and out of sight. Great product

All packaged nice, seemed easy to get ready but it was hard for me to get set up. I read online people struggling to sync the nodes, I was definitely one of those people spent 4 hours trying to connect ( even put mode in the same room as the hard wired node and couldn’t get to work!!! Not sure what happened but the next day they where both working. So after all the hassle still not sure what the problem was.
