This system seamlessly connects my whole house. I have large house so I purchased an additional node and it took minutes to connect. It’s awesome.

Good coverage if placed properly around the house.

This solved our problem of signal being dropped at random times throughout our 2400 sq ft ranch. Keep the help number at your side for setup. It’s easy to follow but did not react to commands. We finally sat each unit side by side to get them to link. Then moved them to separate areas after linked.

Overall, it was easy to install. I did have to call Linksys for a minor issue and they were friendly and handled my issue in a professional manner.

We still have issues with connectivity throughout home.

so far no issue with it i upgraded from night hawk AC2300 it improve my wifi location for my ring camera.

Big improvement. It have enhanced my internet Wifi speed gracefully. The Wifi distance is unbelievable.

I purchased due to old router not covering entire house. The Velop has been great to correct the problem. My kids love it for gaming and watching apps.

The system works well when functioning properly. Unfortunately, there are constant issues with the system dropping connections. I had to replace the system twice in 3.5 years. Not worth the headache. Switched to an eeros system.

Let me get my complaints out upfront: 1. Dual band vs tri band. 2. Lower overall throughput. 3. Each only has two gigabit LAN ports. However, those complaints are when compared to more expensive, higher-end mesh systems. When compared to systems that are similar, the Velop dual band system offers a nice mix of features. The system includes three identical units, called "nodes." Each node is an AC1300 dual-band 802.11ac router that can cover up to 1500 square feet. They can provide throughput up to 400Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 867Mbps on the 5GHz band. They also support MU-MIMO data streaming, beamforming, and automatic band steering - all vital to a modern system with multiple devices. I used this system to replace an existing router and range extender combination. The Linksys mesh system was easy to set up and immediately had better throughput than the prior combination. This was in an older apartment with plaster walls, so wifi signal has been a real problem. The Velop handled it like a champ, thanks to the dedicated mesh connection. I was mildly surprised that the second and third nodes didn't have quite the speed of the node connected to the router, but even they were still as fast as the older router had been (when it was directly connected to the modem) and far faster than the prior range extender had been. I've used the tri-band Velop in another home. The dual-band units are much smaller, and that's a good thing in terms of appearance. They look good and are easy to have blend into the surroundings, due to the decreased size. They are also slower, as noted above. If you have a 1GB connection, you'll want the tri-band system. for anything else, though, these little guys will get the job done. Controls and setup are via the Linksys app, which is available for iOS and Android. I've used a variety of wifi app controls in the past few years, and the Linksys has always been my favorite. It has a clean interface with a wide variety of information and controls. And it works. As with any mesh system, you cannot turn off the SSID broadcast. If that is an issue for you, then I suggest you look at more traditional router systems rather than a mesh system. Overall, I'm very pleased. The smaller size caught me off guard, but I really like it. This size seems more natural than the larger units. Between the appearance, ease of use, and solid performance, I think this is a winner.

This product worked great for me although I did need to get a separate 5 port ethernet switch since the Linksys router can only take one cable

This product improved my internet reception & stopped the buffering & freezing! I highly recommend this product!

Fairly easy to set up. Improved my internet reception by 70-80%. We had given up trying to watch streaming shows on the weekends, now no problem.

I'm not tech savvy, but my son uses this to boost internet connection in his bedroom. Seems to work.
