The nods didn’t work. We repositioned the nods several times to enhance the connectivity. No a good product. Wanted to return but my return window had expired.

I tested it and it will hit in the mid 200’s, but I didn’t want to chance it with kids, cameras, and other devices taking bandwidth all at the same time. I went to the next unit higher.

The Velop Dual-Band offers up to 400Mbps for the 2.4GHz network and up to 867Mbps for the 5GHz network. Running the channel finder and updating the firmware might help to improve the speed. If not, get in touch with us at [email protected] so our Escalation Engineers can check what caused the limited speed as several factors need to be considered. I bought the pack of three and an additional one after being told that the “dropped connections “ may be because I had them spaced too far apart. I have a 2000 sq ft home. Even with 4 the connections readily drop. Forever having to reset them to get them to work. They simply aren’t worth it. What I ended up doing (and strongly suggest) is simply running (or getting an electrician to run) cat 5/cat 6 cable from your modem to the opposite side of the house and then plug in another router. That cost me about the same as the pack of these plus the additional and I haven’t had a problem since. Linksys should be ashamed of themselves for selling these.

We had the Geek Squad come and they installed Eero which works.

Your feedback is of great value. However, having this challenges with our Velop WHW0303 is far from expected. The unit should be ideal for large, 3-5 bedroom homes (up to 4, 500 sq.ft.).
