The parent node works well, but the 2 children can’t stop misbehaving. One node totally burned out early on and was replaced at no monetary cost - just hours lost on the telephone with Linksys. Linksys support is very helpful. In my latest hour long conversation with Linksys addressing an odd non recognition problem, they told me the nodes were not far enough apart, which seemed counterintuitive. But here lately they are working better spaced further apart.

Having such child nodes drop out is totally unexpected, specially on the replacement unit. We'd like to hand you over to our Escalation Engineers so they can check this out and provide further diagnosis. The Linksys Velop Mesh WiFi System can provide WiFi speeds of up to 867 (5GHz) + 400 (2.4GHz) Mbps. For isolation, you can try to use the channel finder and update the firmware to see if that will make any difference.

Your product experience caught our attention. The Linksys Velop System WHW0103 is expected to provide a stable and wide Wi-Fi coverage up to 4,500 square feet. Allow us to look into this closer and have an Escalation Engineer work with you on a fix.
