Constantly needs rebooting

I get very slow speeds at times (i.e., 4Mbps) which prompt the reboots where normal speeds were at about 75 Mbps. The satellite node speeds were a fraction of the main node speed. Not worth the money. I replaced this router after a month.

Does not work

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mesh network systems are very often a complete hit or miss. This was pretty much an entire miss. As many people said in their reviews, the child nodes will randomly disconnect from the gateway node (connected to the modem), which means all devices connected the child node will lose connection. In these times of endless work from home, for those who rely on stable connections for their jobs, beware of this product and watch that return window. Test it out, and keep your receipt. At first, it's a super fast and easy setup, several days later, is when the trouble began. Constant drop offs/disconnects and slow connections fed to the child nodes. The App starts to have trouble as well and seems to be still be pretty buggy. I bought this trusting the brand and how long Linksys has been around but meh, going to try Google Wifi now.

Cannot handle even 3 at once. I only have 3 systems directly wired, not all running of course. But my phone will have poor signal within 10 ft of direct line of site. Was easy to set up though.

The Linksys Velop dual-band system should provide Wi-Fi range up to 4500 sq ft. However, wireless interference can cause some issues with the range. Utilizing the channel finder on the Linksys app and updating its firmware could help optimize its performance.

Be prepared for slow internet

My house is 2 story 1600 sq ft. If you live in a bigger house get a bigger wifi router. Nothing connects correctly and its slow even though it says 400 for down load speed. I will be taking this one back after moving one of the nodes and trying to put it in another room it went bad. Customer service gave me a case number to get a new one but the website is down. The new customer service rep wants me to take a picture of the serial number and email it to them then they'll send me a new one. What a joke!!

Called tech support - 30 minutes waiting...multiple times, because once they got in the backdoor to setup manually, then the range was bad, regarding reception. How about 4 hours over 2 days - not good. Once configured it works well. Very unhappy about the setup.

Have a brick wall inside house had trouble sending any signal. It was less than 30 feet from base station. Returned it and bought eero pro mesh system, which is awesome! Way easier to set up and full signal through brick wall.

Good, but expected better

Working, but not as advertised

Took over 2 hours on call with support to finally get up and running. I only have a 2100 sq foot house, but it does not cover the entire house. I ended up having to run an ethernet cable to my office. Just not what I expected.

Not happy

I give them credit. They keep replacing them, but it is a huge hassle trying to get them not only replaced. But to keep diagnosing and fixing the problem. Will not buy again. Ever
