    This is such a disappointment. The nodes constantly need connecting. We live in a 3300 square-foot home and Linksys says that this unit will cover 4500 ft.². We returned the unit after over 20 days of having to reset it in a row. I would not recommend this unit. We purchased a new eero pro 5 That is amazing.

    Wireless after two days is very slow and dropping.

    First day had a great speed. Third day of using it the internet is now very slow and constantly dropping. Tech from Linksys try to fix it but only wired works fine again, not always at full speed. Now wired has some problems and Wireless is still ultra slow or no connection at all. I am returning this one. Going to replace it with a WTR unit

    Never worked for me. It just would never connect to my modem. Had to run it in bridge mode through my other wireless router. Spent hours on the line with Linksys, and they couldn’t get it to work. They are sending a replacement under the warranty. Got me an Eero instead, works like a well tuned engine.

    This product is horrible constantly dropping connection and with the 2 units in my home the range/coverage is still less then my 6 year old router. If my office remodel did not fall off track these would be retuned. I follwed all the detialed intuctions when connecting to ATnT system.

    I am not happy at all with this purchase, I'm a little tech savvy so I researched several options, and went with the brand and reviews. I bought these for a better range within my house, I had the TP-Link WiFi 6 AX1800 Router and performed way better.

    I had high expectations for this setup but so far it hasn't blown me away. Setup overall was pretty straightforward to get the nodes up and connected. In total maybe 30 minutes to power the first one on, set it up via the Linksys App, and then add the additional 2 nodes. I have a fiber connection and a Gigabit Wireless AC Tri-Band Netgear Router that does all the heavy lifting in my house for my network needs. Once I got the initial setup out of the way I accessed the Linksys site to figure out how to setup this in Bridge Mode to attempt to create a seamless Mesh network with my existing network. Their website was helpful and I performed the firmware update that was available before doing this part. It is now setup but can't get it to function with the same SSID to be seamless within my house. I am connected to it and now between the 3 different network bands my Netgear has I have this one also. Speeds are better than I got before when I am at the far end of my house where I have a 2nd node on the second floor and the 3rd node setup in the first floor front room of my house. Coverage in the front of my house is greatly improved and I have shown connections consistently 450 Mbps to 550 Mbps at various places around the front if my house. Overall I am happy with the speed and so far it has been reliable with no downtime for at least the past week. I haven't had to reboot them and haven't noticed any showing offline. They have a nice aesthetic look to them so you can place them virtually anywhere and they don't stand out and blend in with other various items on a shelf or night stand. If you can get these on sale and you have a larger house with dead zones then these are a good choice but do your research to compare the features to other options to see if one of the others better suits your needs. I don't need any of the router or DHCP features this offers but it does have other functionality I haven't needed or used due to my setup.

    This system was not easy to setup. Took a while to get the nods to connect and then they would disconnect. Had one near kids room and they could not get there TVs or games system to connect to it. Customer service was not that good with Linksys. The mobile app would work and then it would not

    Not stable, every power outage requires a complete network reset(remove and re add each node individually) 0/10 would buy again. Ethernet ports stopped working randomly. Poor construction lasted 1 year

    While the hardware is decent, extremely buggy software. Invest a bit more and buy a system with decent software so you wouldn’t spend a couple of hours every few months trying to use their app.

    The Linksys - Velop Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System (3 Pack) - White is a new iteration of the highly successful Velop Mesh system by Linksys. This package (AC3900) offers a seamless wifi network for most home/small business sizes with up to 4500 sq ft of coverage, all while maximizing your speed and bandwidth. Unfortunately, I did not have success setting this system up. One of their claims is that it sets up in minutes. This was true for previous versions of the Velop system, however, this model refused to work with our current provider CenturyLink (a DSL service). After nearly 45 minutes trying to set it up on my own via the Linksys app, I called the service provider to get additional settings and passwords. After another 1.5 hours I finally gave up as it was clear that this system does not work with my provider without significant setting modifications. In all fairness to my review and the product however, I used my first Velop system with Xfinity (a cable service provider) and had minimal issues setting it up and maintaining connectivity. I believe your results will be dependent upon your service provider and their settings. PROS - Linksys name and quality - Coverage size - Handles up to 2200 megabits per second or 2.2 gbps - Dual band 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz - AC Wireless standard - Encryption and Parental Controls - Claims to be a "learning" system and will be available for system/firmware upgrades in the future CONS - Does not appear to work with DSL providers without significant setting modifications - Only supports 3 nodes - not expandable Recommended for small business or homes with a cable service provider, but not recommended for DSL customers unless you have time and the tech know-how to change settings and passwords in your modem or the Linksys app.

    Item doesn’t work like I expected and can’t return since it’s been 30 days. I’m basically stuck with them. Can they not be returned even if I bought a warranty? I thought I was buying something to help speed up my internet but you just use more with these.
