I had high hopes for this Wi-Fi system but the results were terrible. My internet speed is 400mbps and my upstairs computer would only get about 100mbps because of the distance from my original router. I thought that with the mesh system that my upstairs speed would go up. But, once set up my upstairs speed dropped to only 15mbps. I spent 4 hours on the phone with Linksys tech support and they had me try just about everything and they checked my computer remotely and tried different configurations for the Wi-Fi system. After all their work it got my upstairs speed from 15mbps up to 70mbps. Not exactly what I was looking for when my original router (from Spectrum) that was supposedly not very good could get me a faster speed compared to this product that advertised boosting your speed by putting one of the routers closer.

We were having issues with wi-fi throughout our home. After installing the system we no longer have issues reaching the bedrooms or even outside on the deck.

We were having lots of problems with our wireless service. This system pretty much solved the weak signal and wireless access problem. Great solution.

This Linksys wireless wi-fi system gave us additional access to our internet from one corner of the house to the opposite corner on the second floor. Works perfectly!!

I needed more band width and this solved my problems. Put the band hogging devices on this and left other WiFi for my other devices.

Had problems getting wi-fi throughout our home. Since setting up the Linksys System that’s no longer a problem. Can even access the wi-fi in our backyard.

Our old router was upstairs and we had a lot of buffering issues when we were streaming television shows. I’m very pleased with this new Velop mesh system, no more buffering.

I like it because it gives 3 separate access points but they are always losing connection.

So glad to get great Wi-Fi reception all around our house. This includes on our porch, upstairs and even the basement. Very easy to hookup and monitor!

I purchased this product to help with dropped signals we were having with so many devices on our wifi. So far so good highly recommend.

I purchased these as i was getting low signal in various rooms furthest from my router & now i have nothing but great speed throughout the house. Highly recommend this product

This product did exactly what it was suppose to do! Really transformed the wifi connectivity in my home the difference was night and day!!

These towers are wonderful - they are placed in funky locations but they work great

DId much research on a WiFi "booster" system....The Velop met all my requirements/expectations. After 3 weeks with the system, it has proved to be well worth the price.

I had dead spots at home where wi-fi was no existent, after a review at a convention I settled on the Velop system. It has worked freat since the install. Very happy with the product.

I used to have alot of issues with my wi-fi connectivity. Since i got this i can stream anything i like in as many devices i like in my house. Best purchase i could have made

The Linksys Velop is the second mesh WiFi that I have installed for clients and I would have to give the Velop an edge over the competing brand. The Velop setup software runs through and IOS or and Android device, which makes for a simple setup, but limits your control over manual settings, although this should not be a problem for most home users. Just remember there is no web based control panel for the router. The major Velop advantage is that the Velop modules can be daisy chained to increase coverage rather than radiating from a central hub, without a decrease in signal strength or speed. The IOS or Android installation app doubles as a decent system monitoring app, which helps in determining if your home mesh system is operating at full effectiveness. The documentation prompts you to remove your current router, but your can set the Velop behind your current router and allow it to act as a gateway. In my case the client needed their current router, as it was used to host a point to point VPN for their home office computer which was hard wired to the VPN router. The Velop system setup on a different subnet from their hard wired network, so no device on the Velop WiFi could see any device on the wired network, but internet access was not effected. Speed tests on the Velop WiFi system showed that the WiFi devices were taking full advantage of their 27 mbps DSL connectivity. The Velop system has a 2.4G and a 5G band and the third band is used to connect the modules, which enhances network performance. I cannot say that the Velop system is attractively priced, but it did supply full coverage for my client's 6000 square foot home.

When I went to the store I was looking for another router, but an official directed me to buy this according to my house and need. When I started using I was surprised.
